I had an apartment for myself, so more space than needed. Hotel conveniently located, in a safe environment. I know Miami and what to expect when it comes to rent an apartment belonging or not to a hotel group : lack of maintenance, old furniture, poor customer service and hygiene considered optional. I wanted to try it because the size of the apartment, pool, proximity with The Bass, Beach, trolley, etc. The main issues are impolite customers and lack of regulation from the manager. The pool should be supervised, some guests smoke, leaving butts where the lizards like to stay, others drink champaign, beers, wine, other come into the pool with drinks, some have snacks, others walk shoes on, nobody showers before entering the potheThe apartment itself definitely needs a complete renovation. Instead, employees are asked to perform superficial top coat pseudo painting. Cleaning is also extremely superficial, in accordance with the city. 2 days after my arrival, I realized the refrigerator didn't work. Immediately after reporting the issue, an employee came to switch this broken device. Within less than 10 minutes, the problem was fixed. Most important to me was the other man from the front desk who also came to help with the fridge, the same who proceeded with my check out and helped me with check in. It was not Ray but the other guy, very discreet. I don't know his name, but I want the manager to know how professional he had been, efficient, reliable and gentle.
