The room was exactly as pictured and the beds were very comfortable. The seating area was spacious and view of ocean and pool one floor below are very nice. Christopher was an attentive owner of the unit and answered our questions and resolved broken ice maker issue promptly. The resort is spectacular! Pools, gym and restaurants are fantastic. The only thing that can’t be fixed is the location of the HVAC building outside the condo balcony. The view of the ocean and pool are fantastic from the condo, but when we opened the sliding door to the balcony, all the anticipated natural sounds of the ocean are drowned out by the loud mechanical hum emanating from the side of the HVAC building. It did not bother everyone in our party.
The last two little annoyances are entirely my fault, but feel they are worth mentioning to hopefully help future renters understand things I misunderstood in the finer points of the rental property agreement.
I was excited about the “2 spa passes” included with the rental. I thought we were going to get a choice of two basic spa treatments, like a 50 minute massage or facial. It is two passes to get into the spa & use the free facility, not treatments. Finally, the resort room cleaning fee every other day added up quickLy. It’s fresh sheets & towels, more Keurig pods and a VERY fast room wipe down. The resort will also charge another cleaning fee when you depart. Certainly not huge amount of money, but just wish I had included it in my vacation math. It is clearly in the rental details, I just forgot about it until the cleaning charges were posted on the resort bill at check out. Fountaine Bleau is a clean, luxurious and very safe ocean front resort.
