Casa Flambo offers a private apartment in a five-unit community around a tropical patio inspired by Latin American architecture. Enjoy comfortable spaces for remote work and breezy shared porches for reading, yoga or relaxing.

Casa Flambo is a small community building, with 5 units available for rent, around a common tropical patio inspired by traditional Latin American architecture. It`s a unique place, with comfortable units for long-duration remote work stints, hosting friends and family for dinner, or sharing the space with friends all while having privacy. Guests enjoy private access to the unit, but can make use of the ample, breezy porches on each level to eat, do yoga, read a book, or just chat!

At Casa Flambo, the apartment consists of two suites, each with their own bathroom and walk-in closet, and an open living/dinning/cooking space in between. The second suite`s bathroom is accessible without entering the room for use by people visiting the apartment. All spaces, including the bathrooms, are naturally lit and enjoy abundant cross ventilation year-round from the south-easternly Florida breezes.

The polished concrete floor and ceilings are contrasted with warm, pared back furnishings and a selection of maps, drawings and photographs collected by the owner from friends, antique shops and garage sales over the years.

The kitchen is fully equipped to enjoy cooking while away from home.

This unit is located in the second floor. There is no elevator in the building but just one flight of stairs.

Guests have private access to the entire apartment, and can enjoy shared use of the patio, the 3 porches and the parking court with the guests/residents in the other 4 units of the property. Guests also have private access to the unit`s street-side balcony.

Allapattah was originally the territory of the Seminole Indians, who named the area after Florida`s alligators. A diverse immigrant neighborhood made up of Latin American and Caribbean communities, it has today become home to Miami`s largest health district and a variety of cultural and artistic institutions, artist`s studio and other offices/spaces for Miami`s creative class.

3 blocks east from us, you can grab a drink at Las Rosas, a dive bar and night club that has become a fixture for Miami`s underground creative community.

Six blocks south, you`ll find the new Rubell Museum, a 100,000 sq. ft. campus housing the collection of one of the 50 most active contemporary art collectors in the world. Superblue Miami recently opened and is located directly across from the Rubell Museum in Allapattah, and is accessible via the Santa Clara Metrorail Station on the Orange Line.

And in less than a 5 minute bike ride you can in the heart of Wynwood, or grab a beer or smoked brisket at Bill Durney`s Hometown BBQ.

Allapattah is one of the best situated neighborhoods to get around Miami, just minutes away by car from Wynwood, Design District, Midtown, Health District, Little Havana, Downtown and Brickell.

By bike you are 5 min. from Wynwood, 10 min. from Midtown, Design District and the Health District.

The property is also at a 5 min. bike ride or 10 min walk from Allapattah Station, where you can ride the metro-rail and be in minutes at Miami International Airport, Downtown, Brickell, Coral Gables and the University of Miami.

There is a private free parking in the property and plenty of free on-street parking. There is also free public parking at the metro-rail station.
I expect guests to behave like grown-ups by not burning down the building, by not kicking my dog, Clementina, if you happen to meet her, by not eating drippy food at the table, that sort of thing.
By accepting this reservation you agree to these additional terms:
-MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests is SIX (6) persons at any one time. No other person is permitted on the property at any time; registered guests only and they are the sole responsibility of Guest listed on the reservation. Property owners are responsible for collecting contact-tracing information from everyone enters this rental, including temporary visitors.
- NO SMOKING or VAPING of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property inside or outside, except in the area designated for smoking on the ground floor courtyard.
- PARKING is limited to one (1) spot on a first come first served basis in the building’s garage and/or directly in-front of the building driveway. Free parking is available for additional vehicles in the street. Please use the control remote to close the door every time you leave the building, it takes 60 seconds to close automatically otherwise.
- CHECK OUT is at 11:00 am Sharp. We need enough time to clean and sanitize the unit before the next guests. We can extend the checkout time if you request it and is possible.
-PETS- Dogs are welcome at Casa Flambo. Please clean up after your dog. There is a dog waste station with a dog bag roll dispenser in the parking garage You can put the dog bag tied w/knot in the trash bin located in the parking area. If you were to need cleaning inside your unit due to an accident please use the “Woolite Insta Clean OXY pet stain destroyer” located under the kitchen sink.CATS are not allowed.
-WASTE-There are several wastebaskets around the unit and the toilet is not one of them. The waste & recyclable bins for the building are located in the parking garage area.
- DEPARTURE CHECKLIST - Cleaning fee only covers normal use. Basic tidying up before your departure is expected to ensure safety for our cleaning contractors:
a) Please don’t forget leave the parking garage control remote over the dinning table
b) Remove all garbage & recycling to designated bins (please make sure plastics bags are knot tied to avoid smell and flies).
c) Ensure all windows and doors are closed & locked.
-SECURITY DEPOSIT – The owner will not make a claim on the security deposit if no damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear and no fines are incurred from city or strata for noise, nuisance or parking violations during the stay.
-FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretence will be subject to forfeiture of reservation and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
-This property is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
- Rowdy party people will not be tolerated and any noise violations/fines will be taken from the security deposit. If this describes you and your guests, then we are not the hosts for you.
-Drug use, violence, disturbances, and loud parties are not tolerated on the property. If problems arise related to drug use, violence, disturbances, or loud parties of any kind, tenants will be asked to vacate the premises immediately with no refund. Landlord reserves the right to instruct removal of tenants by City or Police authorities should this occur and tenants refuse to leave.
-EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be pre-approved and in writing. If you need something please ask in advance and we can figure something out.
