"We have arrived at the location and the host welcomed us and showed us the property and explained everything needed. The apartment is cosy and easily suits a family with two children as there are three bedrooms ensuring plenty of privacy. The bathroom is modern as the entire apartment and the kitchen is fully equipped. Parking on the street is no problem. Fully recommend to stay here."

Der Kuckuck hieß uns willkommen, jeden Tag kam ein Storch vorbei, Rehe zeigten sich neben dem Haus, Wildschweine kreuzten unseren Weg, und unsere direkten Nachbarn waren Rinder mit ihren 12 Kälbern, die besonders abends ihrem Bewegungsdrang freien Lauf ließen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. "We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

Vermieterin war nicht anwesend, wohl aber Vermieter, der mir die Raeumlicheiten gezeigt hatte. Die FeWo ist sauber, allerdings funktioniert der Fernseher nur teilweise (Bild verabschiedet sich in unregelmaessigen Abständen), und das Internet funktionierte gar nicht.
