« Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know ! »

« This was a little hidden gem that we will definitely return to. It was a wonderful base and the shared facilities- bathrooms and kitchen, was perfect with little extras like snacks and hot drinks to help yourself to. It was a couple of minutes walk to bus stops, Lidl, convenience stores, Dominoes Pizza and take away. It was about 15 mins to the station and the start of the walk into town. « Mere Brook is a lovely place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self service but everything was fresh and well stocked. We travelled in for a football match and very easy to get into Liverpool. Probably better than going in via the M62. Will definitely book again and highly recommended. »

« The property set a very high standard. Felt very homely and welcomed and helped in with our luggage by Michael and we found him a great host .The room was immaculate and so many nice touches like fresh milk and filtered water and Yorkshire teabags which are my kinda cup of tea. Also a small fridge in the wardrobe which really did give this our thumbs up. Ice cold drinks while getting ready to go out. « Was a short stop before I travelled by ferry, checked in late, had clear instructions from the owner, great communication. Room was really spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows. Included robes to use and a large bath sheet, which if you stay at hotels regularly you’ll appreciate! Really impressed overall with the booking, far nicer than I expected. Great area too. Safe, quiet and close to anything you might need »

« Everything was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and Michele and Al could not have been more welcoming. Would certainly stay there again. »

« Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great. »

« Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! »

« Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars. »

"La chambre était propre, la salle de bain également, l'accueil agréable, très bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux autres hébergements possibles dans la ville. L'emplacement était central, quartier bruyant mais chambre bien insonorisée. Produits molton brown dans la salle de bain très agréables. "

"Dear Hotel Manager, Upon arrival on a business trip, the receptionist did not inform me that my room had no air conditioning but was instead heated — in May. I was required to PAY AT CHECK-IN, which I usually never do, and only after payment was I able to see the room. To my surprise, it was extremely hot — 29°C inside. Reception said they couldn’t help and advised me to find another hotel myself at 8 PM. The assistant admitted other guests had complained, and the issue was known. That´s why they recquired payment at check-in only. IT IS FRAUD. After a tense exchange, I was refunded, with manager’s comment on invoice as “ wished to leave five minutes after seeing the room.".. This experience was disappointing and felt dishonest. I expect better transparency and service. "

Beau, confortable, parfait!

"Très bel hôtel, très cozy, spacieux et moderne. la chambre est grande, lumineuse, très bien équipée et le lit est très confortable. Hôtel très calme et très bien isolé! Prestations de qualité. Seul bémol, nous ne pouvons pas ouvrir la fenêtre de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié, beaucoup de choix en salé (moins en sucré: confitures, miel, sirop d'érable, viennoiseries, fruits frais, pains). A pied, comptez 20 mn de marche pour le centre. Hôtel hautement recommandé!"

"Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Liverpool et même plus loin car il y a une gare routière à 2minutes à pieds et une gare proche également. J'ai vraiment apprécié la propreté impeccable et les petits déjeuners sont excellents, l'équipe de la salle de restaurant est chaleureuse. Belle petite piscine intérieure, bienvenue après une journée de visite et de shopping."

"Hôtel très bien situé en centre ville, pratique à pied pour découvrir la ville. Chambre classique petite mais calme bien que située proche ascenseur. Pas de rangements donc attention si vous restez plus d’une nuit pas pratique du tout et équipements basiques et pas super confortable.Buffet pdj et bar très bien. "

"Personnel accueillant et amical. Excellent petit déjeuner, très complet. A noter toutefois l'absence de marmelade ou d'autres confitures. Les chambres sont modernes, très bien agencées et équipées. Je recommande cet hôtel pour son confort, sa situation centrale et sa tranquillité."
