The Space:
This coastal area is said to be one of the most exclusive. You’ll feel like you’ve taken off to a faraway place without a care in the world! You’ll be surrounded by the tranquility that is hard to come by nowadays.

This beach area along the Gulf coastline is definitely a unique place to stay. It offers tranquility, secludedness, and true peace. Villas Las Tunas is a voluminous, 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 2-story beach house for up to 10 guests. A perfect place for a family getaway to enjoy nature and gorgeous, uninhabited beaches. The beachfront property is primarily windows so that you can take in the picturesque views and tons of natural sunlight. And the beautiful beach is protected by sand dunes and native vegetation, making it an incredible postcard-perfect spot!

The beachfront villa features:
- a spacious open-plan and luminous living space with comfy seating, a Smart TV, and direct access to the outdoor covered patio, private pool, and beach area through the magnificent floor-to-ceiling sliding doors

- direct access from the living area to a spacious covered patio area where you can lounge or dine outdoors. This area is next to the pool, which features a fantastic ocean view

- a dining area is in front of the sliding doors and it’s great to leave the doors open for a wonderful breezy indoor/outdoor connection. The dining table is spacious enough to seat 8 comfortably. The villa is family-friendly so if you need a high chair at mealtime, there’s one available.

- a fully-equipped kitchen that is spacious enough for everyone to hang out and chit-chat while preparing meals. You’ll have all the appliances needed to whip up any meal at home, even the extras like the coffee maker for morning perk-ups and a blender for afternoon margaritas! The kitchen also features a breakfast bar where you can have a seat while doing meal prep.

- 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 guests as such:

It may seem you’ve run away to a far-off land, but you’re only a hop, skip, and jump to the nearest town. You’ll find there are so many things to do and see. As you lay on the beach soaking up the rays, you won’t have to worry about crowds or vendors disrupting your daydreams. Chicxulub is definitely a unique beach location in the Yucatan to escape the everyday grind and recharge. Take a long walk along the shoreline, inhale the salty air, and get sunkissed by the warm sun. The best part is the climate is temperate almost all year round at a comfortable 30°C or 86°F.

Guest Access:
You have unrestricted and exclusive access to the home, the private sandy backyard area, the private ocean view terrace, the covered outdoor dining area, and the patios.

The Neighborhood:
Chixculub gets its name from the crater that was discovered buried beneath the Yucatan Peninsula in the 1970s. It was created by an asteroid thought to be 10 kilometers in diameter (6.2 miles). Due to the crater’s impact, many natural cenotes were formed, and it’s a must-see while in the area. You’ll want to take a dip in the fresh, cool water, and you’ll come out a whole new person!

There is a public bus that passes about every hour if needed, and we recommend you venture out to one of the beautiful cenotes, relive the past at one of the Mayan ruins, and fill your belly to bliss at one of the regional restaurants.

The nearest airport is Mérida International Airport, approximately 55 km | 34 mi from the beach house OR 358 km | 223 mi from Cancun International Airport (CUN). The best way to get to the home is to prearrange airport transportation with a driver or rental car, and we can help arrange that for you. Just let us know!

There is parking on the premises at the beach house so if you arrive by car, you can easily get in and out. Plus, there is a public bus that passes in the event you don’t want to drive.

Other Things to Note:
Additional services are available such as airport & tour transportation, a cook/professional chef, and a local tour guide if needed. For a chef or cook, the grocery provisions/food items needed must be paid separately. Please let us know if you are interested so we can organize it for you.

This is a family-friendly property. We can provide you with a crib and high chair if needed free of charge.

We provide 1 cleaning service per weekly rental. Additional cleaning can be provided for a fee.

Pets are allowed prior authorization is needed.

The home is equipped with mini-split AC units in specific rooms. The rest of the house has fans. We ask that you please turn off the AC when you leave the house and do not use the AC with doors or windows open. Open the floor-to-ceiling sliding beachfront doors too for a wonderful cross breeze anytime!

We provide some basic essentials to get you started like dish soap, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo -- these items are not replenished.

Mid-stay cleaning is available for a fee of $44 USD.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.


HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 25 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture
- Mid-stay cleaning is available for a fee of $44 USD.
- Pets are not allowed unless there is prior authorization and an extra fee may apply if such is given.

Very relaxing beach house. You will need a car far from a town, stores, restaurants but for us not an issue. Management very responsive to inquiries. Would come back!
