La propriété a des plafonds de 18 pieds, dispose de 2 chambres spacieuses avec salle de bain complÚte en marbre et pierres d'onyx.
Les sols en calcaire sont présents dans toute la résidence, la caractéristique principale de la propriété est la belle cour intérieure accueillant une fontaine de poissons sculptés en calcaire.
La cuisine dispose d'appareils modernes, cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz 6 brĂ»leurs Ă  gaz, un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur / congĂ©lateur, plus rĂ©frigĂ©rateur Ă  vin pour garder vos boissons fraĂźches pendant les journĂ©es chaudes. House est situĂ© dans une rue Maya tranquille et pittoresque, Ă  7 heures du matin, vous ouvrez la porte et voir des femmes mayas assis sur les commĂ©rages / mĂȘme arrive Ă  la fin de la journĂ©e quand ils prennent leurs chaises pour faire de la broderie avec la brise de l'aprĂšs-midi.
À 10-11 heures, le chauffeur de tortillas s'arrĂȘte dans le pĂątĂ© de maisons. Il y a un magasin de variĂ©tĂ©s idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© de la propriĂ©tĂ© oĂč ils ont tout ce qu'il faut: boissons froides, lait, fruits, lĂ©gumes, tortillas, cartes tĂ©lĂ©phoniques etc. L'entreprise familiale Ă  proximitĂ© fournit de l'eau de coco fraĂźchement concassĂ©e / lait au litre, dans un dĂ©lai de quelques heures.

Two weeks in beautiful Merida

This property has large rooms that are well appointed; large bedrooms baths as well. We particularly enjoyed the lush pool area. Colorful interesting art work in all rooms was appreciated. The neighborhood lacked conveniences but Uber was fast and economical. Sora was gracious and very helpful! Enjoyed our two week stay.

House and owner are both lovely!

This was a lovely property that worked well for us. The architecture was stunning and the furnishings comfortable and attractive. Good kitchen and laundry facilities, comfortable and appealing bedrooms and baths, beautiful high ceilinged living room and dining room, magnificent swimming pool and courtyard. The owner was superb. Excellent and fast responses to questions and to any problem with the property—e.g., lights that burned out.

Stay away from this rental unit

Major construction next door from ceiling to the floors were talking jackhammers that picture of the pool is like the Grand Canyon echoing thru the property we asked to be moved,owner canceled reservation ,said she would refund our money...so far nothing and not sure if VRBO is going to be of any help just the run around so far very disappointed in vrbo/home away

Beautiful house in peaceful setting

We would definitely return to Casita BotĂĄnica. The house, pool, and gardens are lovely and quiet. Our host was amazing, offering us transportation recommendations and suggesting places to visit while we there. She was immediately responsive to any questions we had about the property. We can’t imagine finding a better place to stay in MĂ©rida.

What a place to come home to!

What you see is what you get. It is palatial and totally private. This is the perfect place for two couples or a couple and one or two kids. The pool is fabulous- about 24'X12' and easily eight feet deep. You need to use the net to clean it because the bamboo trees overhang, but it is clean and is maintained weekly. The bedrooms are both airconditioned, the en suite bathrooms are wonderful with great showers. The AC for the living room is not efficient- it is impossible to seal the room off, but we just let our conscience be our guide and cooled that area as much as we needed to. I see other properties that meter your AC use. This one does not. The dishwasher does not work (it is not included in the amenities, either, but I'm just telling you), but the kitchen is prepped enough for what we did, which is bring home food and drink for fun and go out for meals. The upstairs bedroom is massive, but has two AC units so it cools well. You can look out over the courtyard from a balcony. Downstairs bedroom is not as large, but is plenty big enough... not cramped at all and you walk out to the pool. The lots on either side of this property are empty, so you have real privacy. For maybe $2.00 US or less, you can have an Uber take you into the thick of Merida, but this town is friendly, safe and authentic. What good people reside here! Finally, Sora was very responsive, and that matters because Merida's infrastructure might not be what you're used to. The water is very hard and that affects everything... she had to have our showerheads cleared, which she did immediately. If there is a problem, tell her (nicely) and she will respond immediately. And you will feel like you are living like a millionaire in this wonderful Yucatan experience. Go out, have your adventures and come home to your pool, a siesta and recharge. Then go out again! We also took advantage of the washer/dryer.

A beautiful property

Not only was the house beautiful, but Sora is a great host. She was very responsive to our needs and always reachable. The place is well maintained and equipped. The photos are exactly as the place really is. We had a rental car and the street parking directly in front of the front door was always available. It's close to the historical district (about a $US 2 Uber ride ). I recommend this place . whole-heartedly.

Beautiful, spacious property, delightful and helpful owner

We stayed over Christmas and New Years 2018/19 and were delighted with the property from the moment we entered. Pre-arrival communication with Sora was seamless and uber prompt and as we were arriving Christmas day, she recommended, and called to confirm availability, a ton of restaurants that would be open. The home is beautiful, quite grand coming from NYC apt living. The two bedrooms are in the back of the property and are quite large, each with their own AC units. The kitchen is fully equipped, although we never cooked during our stay. The washer and dryer were an extra perk, especially with the diversity of day trips (Celestun, Izamal, Uxmal, etc) and variety of clothes we went through. It was 90 degrees during the day. When confronted with a car rental issue (no cars after having a confirm #/email) she connected us with her friend Jorge and for the same price as a weekly rental, he took us to each of the above day trips. Without Sora's inside knowledge, helpfulness, and responsiveness, we would not have had such an enjoyable time in Merida. The pool and garden area were a refreshing escape from the heat after meandering the streets of Merida. The cleaning woman came MWF during our stay and cleaned from top to bottom each time. Although, it's a 22 minute walk to the Cathedral we ubered 26 times during our stay for a total of less than $50, Uber was so convenient and free by NYC standards. You could walk, but we had my 73 yr old father and with the heat and it woudn't have been fun. There are local bodegas near the property for basics or the main markets in town were readily accessible. We definitely return to this property when we come back to Merida.

Stunning property with complete privacy

If I could rate this higher, I would. We have stayed in many VRBO's before, though none with the flair and style of this beautiful home in Merida. The art, furnishings and design are unique, and we loved that it was within easy walking distance of many restaurants and sights. Sora was a pleasure to work with, and her suggestions for activities meant that we had a truly memorable vacation. Would stay there again and highly recommend this to anyone wanting an oasis in this pretty city.
