Welcome to Acorn Ridge, a three-level Mentone cabin overlooking sweeping mountain views and just steps from Brow Park and a short walk to downtown. Inside, you’ll find two living areas, two kitchens, and bright bedrooms—each with balcony access—creating the perfect retreat for families, friends, and groups seeking both comfort and connection to nature. Three mountain-view porches, including a glass-enclosed lower porch (living area 2), offer year-round relaxation.

The main-level living room features comfortable seating, a smart TV, and an indoor wood-burning fireplace (some wood provided)—ideal for gathering or unwinding.

Downstairs, a second living area (glass-enclosed lower porch) includes another smart TV and offers a welcoming space to lounge, read, or enjoy quiet time, with plenty of books and board games available for guests to enjoy.

A cozy dining space downstairs offers room for shared meals and morning coffee.

➤ Kitchens (Two)

Main-Level Mini Kitchen: Two-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, and sink—perfect for preparing simple meals. A Keurig coffee maker is also provided for quick and convenient brewing.

Full Kitchen (Downstairs): Gas range, full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and sink—fully equipped for cooking larger meals and hosting groups. This level also includes a standard drip coffee maker for those who prefer a classic brew.

The master bedroom features a king bed, soft linens, and direct access to the shared balcony with uninterrupted mountain views.

A bright loft bedroom with two single beds, a smart TV and its own private balcony overlooking the mountains. A peaceful space perfect for kids, friends, or early risers.

Acorn Ridge includes 2 full bathrooms plus a half bath, offering convenience for groups and families.

The cabin features a convenient half-circle driveway with space for up to four cars. Additional public parking is available just behind the Log Cabin Village, a short walk from Acorn Ridge, providing an easy alternative when needed.

Wildflower Café is a cozy spot serving Southern comfort food with a twist, offering a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. My personal favorite is the tomato pie—grab one to-go and enjoy it while watching the sunset at Brow Park. It’s a perfect pairing!

• Moon Lake Trading Company – 2 min drive

A quaint café known for delicious breakfast and lunch options. A great place to stop for a casual bite.

• Cloudland Canyon State Park – 30 min drive

Explore one of Georgia’s most scenic state parks with hiking, picnicking, and stunning views.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby areas. There is no public transportation, so bringing your own vehicle or renting one is preferred. While Uber and Lyft are available, getting a ride may not always be easy.

Acorn Ridge is located within walking distance of Downtown Mentone and Brow Park.

➤ Starter kitchen and bathroom essentials are provided, but guests will need to supply disposables and restock items for the duration of their stay.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.
➤ Pets allowed with $50 fee per stay. Max 2 dogs under 60 lbs (pre-approval for larger). No cats or aggressive breeds. Keep pets off furniture, clean up after them, and crate if left alone.

1. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival.

2. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

3. No parties or events allowed.

4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

5. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

6. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

7. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

8. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

9. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be requested via the resolution center.

10. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:

• Please note that a $50 Pet fee will be applied per stay.
• We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 60 pounds. If your pet is heavier than 60 pounds, it will require pre-approval from our team.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
