With its location, cozy interior, amenities, and picturesque surroundings, it's the ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation amidst nature's beauty. Explore nearby trails and waterfalls while adventuring at Cloudland Canyon or Desoto State Park or take a short drive to McLemore Golf Club. Relax in either sunroom with a cup of coffee or your favorite cocktail, and enjoy views through a canopy of trees. Wildlife is spotted frequently on the property. Renew, refresh, and be restored!



**THE RETREAT PROPERTY** Situated on Mimosa Street, named for "The Tree of Happiness," This cottage is set off the road with a long graveled driveway and a spacious front yard. There is a private graveled parking area (4 cars max). As you step onto the property, you'll be greeted by the serene ambiance of the surrounding woods and the inviting charm of the cottage. The lush greenery and towering trees provide seclusion and tranquility.



Entering through the front door, Guests are welcomed into the front sunroom that has glass and screened windows, a beautiful hardwood floor and 2 ceiling fans. There is a gorgeous farmhouse table that seats 8 for an experience of outdoor dining with all of the views through the glass! On the other side of the front sunroom, there is a cozy reading nook with a twin size comfy mattress. Probably the guest-favorite highlight of the home, you will enjoy reading your favorite novel here! Or take a long nap and unwind while connecting with nature :)



Upon entering through the yellow door, you'll find yourself in the main living area of the home, tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, antiques and colorful accessories. Stay cozy on cool mornings near the beautiful stone gas fireplace. Large windows flood the space with natural light, offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. Adorned with comfortable seating, this space creates another great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. Next to the main living area, there is a dining area with an adorable



Cottage offers 2 queen bedrooms and an open bunk room. Each room thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and relaxation. Soft linens, plush pillows, and cozy quilts ensure a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure atop Lookout Mountain. The two bedrooms feature storage space for your belongings and windows that allow you to wake up to the beauty of nature. The open bunk room is tastefully decorated with a playful theme and equipped with 4 bunk beds. There is a smart TV and fast Wi-Fi for streaming your favorite subscribed channels, so this room is perfect for a fun family movie night after a full day of adventure. Each room has a ceiling fan.



In the kitchen, there is a pantry, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cooking pots, can opener, pans and utensils, dishes, drinking glasses, eating utensils, cooking spices, coffee mugs, and more. It's perfect for preparing home-cooked meals, and there is a charcoal/wood BBQ grill on the open deck and picnic table for al fresco dining.



There are 2 full bathrooms. One has a soaking tub, and the second bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The second bathroom also has a washer and dryer for added convenience.



The back sunroom is located between the kitchen and the open deck. With comfortable seating and breeze from the ceiling fan, this delightful space offers another perfect gathering place to unwind and connect with nature :)

Chattanooga is only an hour away - Birmingham and Atlanta are less than 2 hours away!



**OUR POLICIES**



You will receive an email to e-sign a vacation rental agreement and upload your photo ID before the reservation is complete.

This retreat property is dog-friendly (small to medium dogs only). If you wish to bring a dog, a pet fee of $69 applies per dog (2 dogs max).

This retreat property does NOT allow smoking anywhere on the property.

Exterior security cameras are located at this property.

There is a $300 security deposit HOLD required for this retreat property.

Guests will receive email communication from Peaceful Retreats prior, during and after each retreat.
