3 mile scenic ride to WPG trails from Sunset Vista

Sunset Vista is a remote, thoughtfully furnished rustic cabin perched atop a hill with beautiful mountain views. Set on 10 wooded acres with a wet weather creek and private ATV trails, the property borders the Ouachita National Forest. Ride your ATVs or dirt bikes straight to the Wolf Pen Gap or Fourche Mountain trailheads with no need to trailer them. Enjoy sweeping Ouachita sunsets and the occasional black bear sighting as you unwind by the stone firepit roasting s’mores.

Previously listed with Clear Sky View and known as the Hilltop cabin, we are the new owners of this 2 story cabin with 18' vaulted ceilings, timbered beams and a beautiful wall of windows overlooking the forest and Ouachita Mountains.

We are currently making improvements to the property and hope you will enjoy what we have done to what is now called Sunset Vista, our home away from home that we will share with you.

Downstairs
Bedroom 1 has a King bed and dresser
Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and dresser
Full bathroom with shower, bathtub and sink

Upstairs
Bedroom 3 (loft) has a Queen bed as well as 2 bunk beds but still room to spread out.
Full bathroom with shower and bathtub, double sinks outside the bathroom for convenience.

The space offers plenty of room for 3 couples or families up to 10 people or a group of friends.

The living area includes comfortable seating and large windows that bring in natural light and mountain forest views. There is a Smart TV in both the downstairs living room and the upstairs bedroom/bunkroom. Starlink Wi-fi allows fast streaming of all your favorites shows.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
Cook with ease using a kitchen stocked with cookware, modern appliances, a mixer, utensils, dishes, a full‑size refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee maker

Outdoor Living
Step outside to enjoy:
- A private fire pit with seating for 6
- A covered porch for morning coffee
- A large swing to view the mountains
- We are in the process of clearing out trees for private ATV trails down to a small wet weather creek.
- Direct access to Wolf Pen Gap and Fourche trails
- Deer, turkey, racoon and bear can frequently be spotted

Access & Parking
The cabin sits deep in the Ouachita National Forest. SUV or 4 x 4 truck recommended if you are pulling a trailer due to gravel, rocks and forest roads. Plenty of parking space for several vehicles and trailers directly at the cabin. If you are not pulling a trailer, any car can make it up the hill.

Suggestion- if you are pulling a trailer, after you go through our gate and coming up the hill of our driveway, you will come to a 3 way. Take the middle and stay circling to your left. It will go behind the cabin and circle back around past our shed and in front of the cabin. The turn is not as tight going this direction than if you turn left at the 3 way. If you miss it and just keep left, don't worry, it's doable, just tight.

Security
We have a Ring Flood Light on the Left side of the cabin facing the shed for security. No other cameras so you can have privacy for your trip

Connectivity
Cabin has fast Wi‑Fi via Starlink for calls, streaming, and remote work if needed.
