The Space:
Magic Mena Rainforest Retreat by Tiny Away, just 110 km south of Cairns, is an eco-friendly tiny house escape for couples in the heart of North Queensland’s rainforest. Accessible by both 2WD and AWD vehicles, the retreat is reserved for one couple at a time, ensuring total privacy.

Enjoy 2.5 acres of tropical paradise with free seasonal organic fruit. Mission Beach is a peaceful beachside escape surrounded by rainforest and is the closest mainland point to the Great Barrier Reef.

While you're there, Cassowary Coast along Tropical North Queensland’s shoreline is perfect for relaxing holiday homes in nature. This 139-square-foot tiny home offers pure rainwater for showers, split air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette, a small fridge, cooking essentials, and bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

Guest Access:
Guests can access our tiny home, gym, and pool, but not the land host's private residence and other neighbouring properties.

Magic Mena Rainforest Retreat by Tiny Away sits in the rural locality of Mena Creek, just 20 minutes from Innisfail Township-Cassowary Coast Region. The tiny house is close to supermarkets, local shops, cafes, and medical services.

Visit Paronella Park’s Spanish-style castle and gardens, and see the blue waters of Cardwell Spa Pool. Drive through the Atherton Tablelands and visit the famous Curtain Fig Tree. Cool off in Lake Eacham or relax at Malanda Falls.

- CHECK-IN IS BETWEEN 2PM AND 7PM. NO CHECK-IN AFTER 7PM WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
- On arrival, enjoy a light snack or breakfast: wholemeal bread (toaster provided), dairy-free spread, peanut butter, Vegemite, jam, rice crackers, seasonal fruit, tea, drinking chocolate, Caro, dairy-free milk, organic oats, seed mix, raw and coconut sugar, and fresh rainwater.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Strictly no pets, and children below 18 allowed on the property. If you arrive with them, you will be refused entry.
- We will notify you by text of any flood alerts in the area during your stay and may instruct you to leave the property for your own safety.
