Nice/Clean hotel close to Restaurants & Mall

The Room was very nice and clean, The cleanest Baymont Inn I have ever stayed. The Staff was was really nice, The Breakfast Bar was clean, The Reason I gave a 4 for the OverRall rating is because when I checked in at the Front desk, she said she needed to make a copy of my card for their file. She said Management required it, WHY? My Husband and I have travel a lot and no one has ever made a copy of our credit/debit card. That left my husband and I feeling uneasy. I reserved the room through Expedia, I have been asked to show my card before but not to copy it

working toilet

Everything else was OK except that my toilet did not flush! I reported it, went out for 3 hours, came back and it still wasn’t fixed I checked out the next morning with it STILL not working and it was easy to diagnose and fix (Because it’s happened to me in my home) The rubber flap that lets the tank fill did not work so it never filled and the handle did not work In the middle of the night !! I had to take off the tank lid, push the rubber seal down MANUALLY and wait for the cold water to rise above my wrist! Then it would flush ONCE I was offered ZERO compensation for this The staff is great but they couldn’t fix anything! So no, I would not recommend

We also cancelled one of your non- cancellable room at your request as a courtesy. Sorry to hear that you would not be recommending us.

I made reservations for this hotel pretty late at night because my husband, one year old son, and I were headed to Arkansas to visit family and decided to stay somewhere for a few hours and continue on in the morning. When we got to the hotel, I went inside to check in and was instantly met with a man with an attitude. He acted like my being there was just a huge bother to him. I provided him with my debit card to put on file and my license. After a few moments, he told me my card had been declined. I told him that it shouldn’t have been and asked that he retry it. He said, “I’ve ran it three times and it’s still declining it..I’m looking at the screen now.” I asked if there could be an issue because I used my PayPal instead of my actual card and he said that wasn’t his problem, and that because I booked with Expedia that it wasn’t his problem and I needed to contact Expedia. I then asked for my cards back and he tossed them at me across the counter and told me that I didn’t need to be rude. To which I responded, “I haven’t been rude this entire time, you have.” He then told me to get the “F” out of his “F-ing” hotel and to not come back. Thankfully, I work for the bank that the debit card is issued from. Of course he did not know that. I had one of the ladies I work with look at the history on my card to see what error code he was getting when he tried my card...turns out he never processed it the first time much less two more times. I do not recommend this hotel.

Avoid at All Costs!

I stay at about 20-30 hotels a year and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at in ages. I have stayed at plenty of other Comfort Suites in the past and they were all decent. Not true of this one. It is in a very strange location behind the Costco, right off the interstate. The Hotel staff were rude/incompetent. Their internet service was down the morning I was to leave and they couldn't check out my room, or print a bill. They had me write down my email address to send me the final bill, but they never did. This is a poor hotel in a sketchy area. Look at the picture posted with this review. It speaks to the "Quality" and safety of this location. Avoid

We are located in the best part of Memphis with IKAE in 100 feet of us and Wolfchase Galleria in 0.5 mile with every type of Restaurant and Department store in close proximity.
