Not as advertised

The pool, which was one reason I chose to stay here, was out of service for quite some time. The hotel owners were also hawking a hydro massage chair in their conference room. A truly disappointing stay.

Dear Guest, We do not agree with your comments. The Hydromassage chair is a free amenity for our guests who find it very relaxing to use. The pool closure was put on all websites since January 13th due to severe weather damage and were given the option at check in too. Your comments towards the owner is out of context. Our pool is open now and the Hydromassage chairs usage is still available to our guests. Sincerely,GM

Beware Do Not STay

I had and awlful experience at this hotel. Getting to this hotel was terrible it was located in an horriable place the parking was limited. Where you thought you was able to park next thing you know I was being told I could park there by the hotel that is located feets from this hotel. The breakfast is not worth getting up for. And what took the cake was when I reported that the rooom I had had Bed Bugs. I was offered a cot to sleep on which the cot could not even fit in the room. When ask to speak to the manager that morning. I had to sit in the room and wait for her to call the room. She would not personally come and talk to me to see what my complaint was about. When she finally called the room she did not want to here anything I had to say. She offered me a 10% discount which was highly unacceptable when I paid 200 to sleep with Bed Bugs. She had told me she would give me a call but never heard from her when I tried to contact her I was unsuccessful and was given the run around.

Dear Guest, Your comments are totally false and there are no bed bugs. You are bitter about the extra charges you had to pay for having more than registered guests in the room. You registered two people in a Jacuzzi suite and had up to five people including children. You also got a free rollaway bed as well as 10% discount on top of this. Pictures can be digitally altered. when I arrived i found that the pool and the exercise room were out of commission due to a storm two weeks earlier. The clerk kept telling people" they notified everyone". we went there for the pool. they called one other hotel for us, which was full. We were on our own to find another hotel.

Pool/Gym Not Working

Exceeded my expectations

I stayed here the night before last. Considering the price for a one night stay was cheap, I wasn't expecting much out of the hotel. BUT, I was very wrong. Comfort Suites Cordova is actually one of my best hotel experiences now. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful, the hotel was very clean. Nice Lobby, wonderful free hot breakfast. The room was large - 2 queen beds, a couch and coffee table, kitchenette, good size bathroom. The towels and wash clothes were folded fancy. The bedding was beautiful and very comfortable. I've never slept in such a comfortable hotel bed before. A nice big window that opened. Nice framed pictures of memphis on the walls. Honestly I really didn't even want to leave the hotel. The fitness room and pool were closed , but to make up for that , they had hydromassage beds. Free 10 minutes. It was amazing so relaxing. I cannot stress enough how pleased that I was with this hotel , I would definitely recommend it to anyone. And if I go to Cordova in the future, this is where I will stay.

Hotel is 15,minutes from Rhodes College

Pool and gym were closed for months and was not listed as being closed. Facilities were run down. We got down to breakfast 30 minutes before it was supposed to be over and all of the hot food was gone and not replaced. Staff was friendly enough.
