« Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall. »

« We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing. »

"For older people like us, superb location to access amenities and viewing interesting activities of Market Square. Absolutely quiet and parking location well located for us and no problem with keys. Mr Allan was very useful for waste management after our phone to him and he decided to do it himself, we appreciated his help.The use of the washer was complicated for us so we would have appreciated a change of towels once during our stay. The two oven trays were not clean when we needed to use them.Dining table chair cushions cleanliness quite disappointing. Upstairs bath not easy to use for a shower since no protection for floor or the rest…"
