Year-round cabin for 4 guests in a tranquil, private woods setting. We are your ATV base camp, with direct access to over 100 miles of ATV trails accessed directly from the cabin; no trailering around needed after check in. This is a cozy & quiet "up north" Minnesota getaway in a very nicely appointed cabin that will feel like your home in the woods. You will correspond with a very responsive owner, aiming to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Here is your chance to truly get away, yet still be within 15 minutes of many dining, bar, and grocery options.

- Master bedroom furnished with a king size bed and the 500 sq ft loft has two queen size beds. One of the living area sofas also folds out into a double bed.

- For the winter, we have 4 pairs of snowshoes and get the driveway plowed/entrance shoveled

This was the perfect place for us three girls to getaway on a wintery cold weekend. The place was very clean, and the owner communicated quickly with us. The only advice I would give if you decided to book here in the winter is to bring some slippers because the floor is cold. Would love to come here again sometime!

Listing described this wonderful cabin in the woods exactly! We were able to snowmobile right from the driveway and get to the trail system. Jessica is an excellent host and was very prompt with any questions we had.

My best friend and I enjoyed a very relaxing wkend at your cabin scrapbooking. The weather was cool, overcast and drizzly, so perfect time to stay inside and craft. There were some nearby local restaurant's we could run to for a bite, which was nice. We enjoyed Zorbaz. The only little comments we would have is there is one bathroom, and it's on the main level, with 2 doors, between one bedroom and a hallway, so you have to open/shut 2 doors, plus on the other side is someone's bedroom. The other one would be the TV. It would be nice to have local channels available to watch the news, vikings games, etc. but we got by. We look forward to spending another wkend here!.

This was our 2nd stay. We love this property! It’s one of the most well thought out rentals we have ever stayed in. We booked it for revolving overflow guests that our lake cabin is to small to accommodate. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the grounds are so peaceful. We will be back.

Jessica's cabin in the woods was the best short term rental we have ever had. It actually matched the listing, was impeccably maintained, and was even cuter in person than in the pictures. Plus there has been so much attention to detail all over the cabin! Hooks where you need them in the bathroom, pantry essentials, a drawer of little "forgot them" items, labeled light switches (more owners should do that, it was so helpful!), even birdseed for the feeders! To top it off, Jessica was a fantastic host. She provided a ton of information about the area, ideas of things to do, and answered questions. (And just seemed so nice too!) This cabin really feels loved by the owners, and was such a great place to have a campfire & make s'mores with your family, play games, and just have a relaxing time together. We are so glad we ended up there, and will be recommending it to anyone looking for a place in northern Minnesota!

Jessica was so helpful and communicative, offering great suggestions for area eats and treats, local trails, amenities etc. The well stocked pantry items were such a great surprise! Incredibly comfy beds and awesome walk in shower were also much appreciated! Truly a great place with some thoughtful perks (puzzles, games, Nintendo, cozy throw blankets
) to make it even more special. Would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the area!

We stayed at this property in the winter. The location is great! Very close to Big Sandy, but also secluded, peaceful and beautiful. The home was as advertised. We found it comfortable, easy to use and appreciated the thoughtful touches. Things were clearly labeled, a handy guide was available and it was easy for us to get comfortable. Paper products (paper towels & toilet paper) were available and good quality. Extras like a tea and coffee center, salt and pepper, and games and blankets made our stay very comfortable! We did need to contact the owner a few times and received a quick response each time. We would stay again!

We had an amazing time at oso verde. The space was very clean and cozy. We brought our atv up and the location was absolutely perfect. We didnt have to haul the atv anywhere as you could hop on trails right from the property. There was an atv run up there the weekend we went up and the locals were very welcoming and helpful with giving us tips and showing us around. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and watching the birds from the patio. We were able to make all of meals at the cabin as it was well stocked with everything you would need. Thank you Jessica for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

We stayed at the property to go fishing on Big Sandy. Very close to the public access on the south side. Fishing was not great but the cabin was a very nice and comfortable place to go to after fishing all day.

Had an amazing time at Oso Verde
 after a busy week of business in Chicago, this was an amazing place to unwind and get back to nature. While our stay was a working vacation, we delighted in the little things like coffee and tea selections
 multiple Sherpa blankets, toiletries, a swing in the yard, bird feeders everywhere, squirrels on our doorstep. So many things to delight in. Works definitely recommend this place.
