"Shades of Green" is a beautiful cabin that is located a few miles north of Blue Ridge and sits right on well-known Fightingtown Creek. The creek arises and snakes its way through the woods to the Ocoee River, just above McCaysville, Ga. The quaint town of McCaysville offers unique shopping, some great local eateries and is only about 8-10 minutes from the cabin. Fightingtown Creek is often referred to as one of North Georgia's most enchanting creeks as well as some of the best trout fishing in North Georgia. The water is known to stay clear and within its banks even when the area is experiencing heavy rainfall. Catch and Release and barbless hooks only. Enjoy the creek from the covered porch, on one of the decks at water's edge or while eating smores at the firepit.
Finding such a great cabin in a location such as this is truly a dream come true. Access to the cabin is fantastic, all paved (with exception of the driveway), level terrain and the cabin is just lovely with all the comforts of home and then some! The main house offers 3 bedrooms, 1 on the main floor and 2 more upstairs including the large Queen Master with private bath and spectacular river views. The living room has a gas fireplace (fireplace season 10-1 thru 4-30) and a 43" Smart TV with Roku for streaming, has an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining area and is fully equipped and ready to prepare some great meals. The basement provides a game room with pool table, game table, board games and a 55" Smart TV with seating area.

- The bunk house offers a Queen Bedroom, a Full Bedroom, Living Room with 43" Smart TV, Full Bath and a Kitchenette. The bunk house is located above a separate garage area from the main house and is accessible from outside stairs.
All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans

Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) wash cloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat & air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV or streaming, internet.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), garbage bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

IF THIS IS A LAST MINUTE RESERVATION(LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO CHECK IN) YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE OFFICE FIRST TO CHECK IN TO RECEIVE THE DIRECTIONS/LOCK BOX CODE. PLEASE SURE TO BRING YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH YOU.
