Overall our stay was okay, however the dishes and utensils were not thoroughly washed. There were caked on food from previous guests on most of the cooking utensils which was disappointing because we had to wash everything before using. There was also hidden trash left over from previous guests throughout the house. However we did appreciate the guestbook and city guide the owner provided. They also provided plenty of cleaning supplies and towels/blankets.

Home was not accessible due to snow, doors left open not secured, microwave handle broken, carpets haven't been cleaned and hide the dirt, bathroom upstairs was scary to be polite, interior doors stuck closed and need force, beds were like rocks, no soap, shampoo, home was an ice box, never got over 68 degrees, seemed to be managed remotely, multiple spiders, still waiting for "GM" to respond, literally had to find another place night one as it was so cold due to the doors open and heat not working... snow shovel was broken. The only renovations are the kitchen counters and Master Bath. Beware

Fun hot spring weekend.

The property was great for our group of 7. With 4 bedrooms and plenty of beds we were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We did find the cookware less than adequate but Overall a great stay!

Clean and close to town

I believe I submitted a review previously. The internet did not work so we had no tv, as well as no internet for ipads, etc. The wifi info that was left for us was wrong wifi name and password. My son finally found it on the side of the router. Fridge could have been colder. The area was great....walking distance to town. Very clean and plenty of room.

Just okay.

The check in process was easy. The house is on a corner which is not clear from the pics. It is a litte busy. It is close to town and a easy walk. Most of the house is dated and could use some TLC. I think it could be cute with some help but the curtains and bedding are dark. The carpets are stained and should be removed. The spaces seem bigger on the pics. The layout up stairs is strange but functional. The beds are ok , some more comfortable than others. The hard service floors and rugs in the bathroom were not clean. Other items needed cleaned also including the outdoor spaces. If you are looking for a newer place with everything tidy, this is not it. The kitchen did appear updated and nice. Overall, it met the need but I would not stay again.

Worked for us in the end

I did quite a search to find us a great place in McCall. I liked the proximity of this property to town and the outdoor space in the listing. We have a baby and spend a lot of time at our rental while she sleeps. We were disappointed in the street location, on a busy corner with lots of traffic and close to the road. Outdoor space isnt very private or cozy. It ended up raining a few days so we couldnt enjoy the space in the end anyway, but felt like the pictures were not accurate. Overlooks city works buildings. Inside met our needs. We did have to call maintaince for a squeaky bed, back door that didn't lock and also the fridge was crazy cold and kept freezing our food. We only had one garbage bag. Could've been a better stay.

Great place to stay but checkin was hard

We arrived after dark, which was a little more difficult, because we couldn’t find the place even with Google maps. And hard to see with all the snow. But this is McCall Idaho. We did find a place no problem. Check-in was a little rough and that’s why I gave it a four-star because there was no key in the lock box, and Code did not work on the front door. I had to call Vacasa to find out where the spare key was. This literally took 5 to 7 minutes not a super amount of time but annoying when it’s cold dark and we have a baby with. Along with the fact that we traveled 8 hours . So I would suggest trying to get there in the daytime before dark and hopefully they put an extra key out front. Place was very clean had plenty of room for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. I would’ve given them a five star review if check-in was a little easier .
