« Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...

« The views were amazing ! The breakfast was amazing ! The birding was amazing ! The cabins were perfecting equipped. The setting is so peaceful. The walking trails were well maintained. A well planned out property!! »

« Location was perfect for spotting birds and doing short (10-30 minutes) drives to other good birding locations. We booked the room with balcony. The room was clean and the bed was good. Patrica is the lady that manages everything. She also cooked great meals for us. So please order the lunch and dinner also there. We are very happy and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended! »

« Most charming lodge Iâve ever been at. A perfect stop to make between the Pacific coast and the Carribean one, or between San Jose and Limon/Puerto Viejo. The view is out of this world beautiful, the location is completely off-the-grid, the team is just wonderful, the breakfast is so so good, and fresh. The chicken empanadas is the best one I ever had. The garden has so many types of flowers/trees, etc. Our dog got to run freely and enjoy the beautiful grounds. I have nothing bad to say about...
