« Loved the home - it felt like being home at the end of a long day shopping and doing many things in town. Clean! Just wish the towels were ready and set in the bathrooms and instructions left on what to do with used towels and if the garbage should have been taken out. Basement was stinky. Other than that, wonderful place and setup - sooooo close to town and convenient! »

« We traveled to Boston to see our son graduate from BC. We have stayed in the area many times over his 4 years. This location was wonderful with great restaurants and easy access to the city. The free parking was definitely a perk we enjoyed too! The property manager, Jack, was very responsive and made the stay fantastic with all the perks of home. Thanks so much for a great place to lay our heads. »

« We loved this house. Sure, it is rustic (as the title says), but we loved the vibe. The architecture, exposed wood, and white floors felt like a 60s surf bungalow. The house is interesting and there are some quirks, but nothing that had any impact on our stay. It was clean and well appointed where it mattered- the linens were clean and fresh, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the mattresses on the twin beds seemed new. It was walking distance to the little town, beach, playground, Sconset...

« Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood right across the river from downtown Salem and most attraction. Very walkable when the weather is nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for groups traveling together. Communication with the host was easy, Meg was very responsive. Decent sized outdoor space with a grill and patio furniture. « We had a great stay. Central location, very quiet street. The property is just as listed with one added highlight - the back deck was a great spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails! Our only challenge was communication - before our stay we got lots of email, VRBO and text messages, but they all seemed to be coming from different people. It was impossible to know which info was correct. »
