Guest access
The entire house is reserved for your stay. Guests can relax in the hot tub, gather by the fire pit, cook meals in the full kitchen, and enjoy the private lakefront for swimming, kayaking, or simply taking in the view. On-site parking is available for multiple vehicles. 24/7
Other things to note
*Main boat is off limits. Kayaks are available for guests. There are about 4 life jackets available.
Please note any water inherently comes with some risk, including but not limited to injury or drowning, so please supervise children and exercise caution at all times. Swim at your own risk.
We are fully emersed in nature, and we do bug control on the property, but please note that there may be spiders, mosquitos, or other insects! While the lake is usually beautiful and perfectly swimmable, please be aware that it is a natural body of water and is subject to natural events like algae blooms and others, which may affect swimability.
Suana & Steam Room:
This Sauna & Steam Room Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement Liability Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered by and between Owner of 241 Hooppole, and the booking guest(s) (collectively, the "Guest") in connection with 241 Hooppole Rd, Mashpee, MA 02649 (the “Property”).
Acknowledgment of Risks: Guest acknowledges that the use of the sauna and steam room involves risks, including but not limited to heat stress, dehydration, fainting, respiratory difficulties, and other health complications. Guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their use, whether known or unknown.
Conditions of Use:
Guests under 18 are not permitted without direct adult supervision.
Guests with health concerns (including pregnancy, heart disease, high/low blood pressure, or respiratory issues) must consult a physician before use.
Guests shall not use the sauna or steam room under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair judgment.
Use is limited to 15-minute intervals to avoid overheating.
Guests are responsible for their own hydration and safety.
Release of Liability: Guest releases and holds harmless the Owner and related parties from all liability for injuries, illnesses, or property damage related to sauna/steam room use, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Indemnification: Guest agrees to indemnify and defend the Owner against all claims arising from use of the sauna and steam room by the Guest or their invitees.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Massachusetts.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: By booking this property, Guest acknowledges and accepts these terms and understands they are assuming all associated risks.
Hot Tub:
This Hot Tub Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement (the "Agreement") Liability Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered by and between Owner of 241 Hooppole, and the booking guest(s) (collectively, the "Guest") in connection with 241 Hooppole Rd, Mashpee, MA 02649 (the “Property”).
Acknowledgment of Risks: The Guest acknowledges that the use of the hot tub at the Property involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to slips, falls, drowning, overheating, and reactions to the hot tub chemicals and water quality. The Guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the use of the hot tub, whether known or unknown.
Conditions of Use:
Age Requirement: Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the hot tub without direct adult supervision.
Health Precautions: Guests with health concerns, including but not limited to pregnancy, heart conditions, or skin sensitivities, should consult a physician before using the hot tub.
Safety Rules: Guests agree to abide by all safety rules posted at the Property and to use the hot tub in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others. Do not use, or allow the hot tub to be used, alone.
No Glass: Glass containers are strictly prohibited in or near the hot tub area.
5. Cover: The hot tub cover must be replaced after each use to maintain water temperature and cleanliness.
Duration: To avoid overheating, Guests are advised not to use the hot tub for longer than 15-minute intervals.
Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed before or during hot tub use. The temperature of the water may intensify the effects of alcohol and cause drowsiness, dizziness and/or unconsciousness.
Release of Liability: The Guest hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Owner, the Owner’s agents, employees, and any other parties involved in the ownership and management of the Property, from any and all liability to the Guest (which includes but is not limited to the Guest’s family, friends and invitees), their personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore, on account of bodily harm, or injury to any person or damage to property, arising out of or related to the use of the hot tub at the Property, whether caused by the negligence, conduct and acts of the Owner or otherwise.
Indemnification: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guest agrees to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Owner from any and all loss, liability, damage, or cost in connection with claims made or brought against the Owner arising out of or related to the use of the hot tub by the Guest or their invitees.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Property is located.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: The Guest has read this Agreement, fully understands its terms, understands that they have given up substantial rights by acknowledging, and have agreed freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature. This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, assigns, and personal representatives.
Water Trampoline Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement:
This Water Trampoline Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered by and between Owner of 241 Hooppole, and the booking guest(s) (collectively, the "Guest") in connection with 241 Hooppole Rd, Mashpee, MA 02649 (the “Property”).
Acknowledgment of Risks: Guest acknowledges that use of the water trampoline involves risks, including falling, impact injuries, drowning, and other water-related hazards. Guest voluntarily assumes all such risks.
Conditions of Use:
Strong swimming ability and life jackets are required at all times.
Children must be directly supervised by an adult.
No diving, flips, or rough play.
Do not exceed the posted maximum capacity of ___ persons.
Do not use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medications.
Use only in designated safe areas away from docks, boats, or shallow water.
Release of Liability: Guest releases and holds harmless the Owner and related parties from all liability for injuries, drowning, or property damage related to trampoline use, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Indemnification: Guest agrees to indemnify and defend the Owner against all claims arising from use of the trampoline by the Guest or their invitees.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Massachusetts.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: By booking this property, Guest acknowledges and accepts these terms and understands they are assuming all associated risks.
Be very cautious while using the steam room — avoid touching the steam directly or sitting too close to the outlet where the steam is released, especially near the silver metal area at the end.
