Captain's Quarters -Goodyear Lake near Cooperstown

Perched above Goodyear Lake, Captain's Quarters has an awesome view of the lake from a series of decks overlooking the water, and there is room for grilling and dining on the top deck. Some of the features you will enjoy include a wet bar with quartz countertop in the main living area, heated floors in the bathrooms, laundry facilities and a shared gas BBQ grill. There are 2 kayaks and a firepit for the shared use of all guests on the property, located at the waterfront.

There are two separate units in this spacious home - This unit, Captain's Stateroom, which sleeps 6, and Captain's Quarters, which sleeps 4. They are self contained lock-off units with no indoor shared spaces. Each unit has its own kitchen, living area, bedrooms, bathroom and laundry facilities. The only shared spaces would be the front yard, and the waterfront area with 2 kayaks and the firepit. For a larger group, you can rent the entire house as Captain's Lookout. This spacious waterfront home is nestled into the hillside, with the main living area and two bedrooms on the top floor - street level. Both street level bedrooms have queen size beds and their own private bathrooms. There is another bedroom on the lower level with a king size bed and private full bathroom. There is a fourth full bathroom with whirlpool tub off the hallway on the main floor. There are 5 smart Roku flat screen TVs - a 55" (or larger) in the living room and 43" (or larger) TVs in each bedroom and in the dining area, all connected to Cable TV.

A well manicured yard in front of the home is large enough for playing a game of catch. For your comfort and convenience, this vacation home also features central air-conditioning, high speed wireless internet (Wi-Fi), and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and refrigerator with automatic ice maker. A gas grill on the upper deck is available for your use.

I am Jerry, your host. I was born and raised in Oneonta. I live within 15 minutes of the property and I can easily be reached at any time via call or text should you have any questions or issues. You will be greeted by me or one of my teammates at the property. We will get you registered, collect your security deposit and give you the keys.

This home is located is a quiet lakefront community. Please respect the 15 MPH speed limit, quiet hours after 10 PM, and please, no team parties or large gatherings with other people who are not registered guests at the home.
