Escape to Whispering Woods: a private four-bedroom home on 17 acres, about 2 km from Maryborough. Sleeps 11 across nine beds, with two kings and 2.5 bathrooms. Enjoy a solar-heated pool, two-person sauna, games room and covered barbecue dining. Pets welcome. A regular mob of wild kangaroos often visits at dusk and early morning; sightings vary. Pool available November–April; warmth depends on weather.

Enjoy the whole four-bedroom home, with nine beds including two king beds and room for up to 11 guests. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave, indoor dining, a comfortable lounge, laundry and Wi-Fi.

Outside, relax beside the private inground solar-heated pool or in the two-person wellness sauna. The air-conditioned games room offers table tennis, foosball, air hockey and board games. Covered outdoor dining and a barbecue give you another place to gather.

The 17-acre setting combines natural bush and cleared land, with space for birdwatching and enjoying the country skies.

The master bedroom with ensuite has its own split-system heating and cooling. Electric blankets are provided on all beds except the two day beds.

A regular mob of around 10 wild kangaroos often visits the paddock after dusk and early in the morning. Enjoy watching quietly from a distance; sightings vary because they are wild animals.

The pool is available November–April, from 11 am to 9:30 pm. It is solar heated: water temperature depends on sunshine and weather, with no guaranteed warm swimming year-round. Please ask about pool availability for your dates.

There are two dams on the property. Children must be supervised around the dams and pool. No glass or pets in the pool area. No smoking or vaping inside the house. There are steps to the verandas, so the property is not step-free.

Please include everyone staying when booking so we can prepare the correct beds and linen.

Parties are allowed until 12 midnight and must finish by midnight.
