« Laird's Hideaway offered a great value for a simple place to stay. It offered a quiet location, easy parking, short drive to lake/dam. Host had excellent response times. « The apartment was spacious with thoughtful elements for storage and convenience. The location cannot be beat with easy access to the San Marcos square with shopping, dining, and nightlife. « This was the perfect place for an Adults only weekend getaway. The location on the river is excellent. You can walk to Rio Guadalupe next door, and they'll shuttle you up the river to the horseshoe. No post float shuttle ride or need to drive! The property was quiet with beautiful views from the patio. »

« It was a cute little cottage. We didn't think it was cleaned...and having little ones, its important. We pulled the futon out and were surprised by all the crumbs that were in the crease. Also the fans were full of dust and a lounge chair was tore. Instructions were out dated..or not for that cottage. They instructed to leave dishes in dishwasher but theres no dishwasher. Instructions did say there was a quiet time and having to wear wrist bands, and one parking spot per rental. We saw more...

« The property was spectacular! Clean, updated, and the communication with the owners was quick and helpful. I loved the property and the location. We were a few minutes from our concert at White Water Ampitheatre. The property was secure and safe. Loved that they had a washer and dryer in the unit. We stayed the weekend and it was nice to have the amenities to wash our wet clothes and the stuff we brought prior to returning to our work week. Would highly recommend this listing for your getaway. »

« Stayed here for a short weekend getaway. It was very clean and perfect for the weekend. There is several restaurants close by and it’s very quiet and relaxing. It was raining and cool during our stay so we didn’t do much outside but we did drive to San Marcos which only took about 20 minutes. Beds were very comfortable and check in/out was easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend for short trips. »
