« I was surprised this hotel was not full during our stay. It seemed a great value to me, and the decor featuring extensive wood carving was impressive. Of course we were there during the shoulder season in mid September so that may explain fewer guests. The room opened to the hotel back, so it was quiet. With the window open, you will hear the sounds of the nearby river, which helped me sleep. The room was clean and well-appointed, and the bed was good. The bathroom had a shower (no tub),...

The owner was very kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The food was also very good, with plenty of tasty options to enjoy.
