« The house is below par in heating due to minimal insulation, high ceiling and single glazing. The heat pump and electric heaters were not able to maintain an agreeable temperature with below zero temperatures outside. I know New Zealanders are used to bad heating, but we as Europeans feel this house is NOT COMFORTABLE. Even with the log fire going... »

« This is a beautiful home surrounded by vineyards, quiet, and an approximately 10 min. drive into town. Sandra was very helpful with us trying to get an alternate plan to get across to the north island when the ferry had cancelled. Spectacular views and wonderful hosts. You can’t go wrong! »

« The hot tub was a bonus. Beds were comfortable. No dishwasher. Property is showing its age. All bedrooms are downstairs which can make them cold in the winter but they do supply electric blankets. Log fire kept it very warm upstairs. Probably not great for the elderly due to steps and stairs. Front door entrance and steps to it could do with a tidy up and a covered porch. »

« Everything was in good order when we arrived. The home was great for us with all of the bedrooms and big dining table and upstairs family room with TV. We had our small dog with us and he felt quite at home there. It was interesting walking around the neighborhood. »

« Nice tidy property, well/centrally located to Mapua shops and resturants, also well located for other Nelson/Tasman suburbs, easy travel.Property was clean tidy and as described, host was very helpful and communicated promptly.Will use again next time we are back down there :) »

« The property was lovely and spacious. The views are truly exceptional, both of mountains and sea. Our host was extremely friendly and gave us plenty of useful information. She also has stocked the house with plenty of food to make your stay even more comfortable! Thank you very much, would recommend for anyone visiting the kaikoura area! »

« Great cosy cottage ideal for couples get away, very quiet area, lots of heating options but heat pump was more than enough. All you need (except an oven tray ). Highly recommend staying here . »
