« The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed when we arrived, including making sure we had access to the private parking away from shop/restaurant traffic. We dropped our equipment rental at Beech and rented direct from White Wolf when we arrived which was excellent service and convenient allowing us to skip the lines at Beech and walk right onto the slopes from the rental. « Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff! »

« Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. There was no one around in morning to find out about...

« We really enjoyed our stay kitchen was well stocked, lots of games for the kids when it rained. The only complaint from my group was some nails on the back deck. We bought a hammer and fixed. The creek by the house was great for the kids to play in, and at night was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of water. Would definitly do it again »
