« I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...

« I'll try to keep this concise. The host is a rock star. Every detail of the boat was perfect for us. The location - perfect. The houseboat community - welcoming, genuine and people you want to meet. The houseboat itself - awesomely authentic with every need met. Super clean, amazing bed and linens, every kitchen utensil imaginable. September was an amazing month for us with awesome weather. Heading out in the mornings on the kayak was soul enriching. « Overall, the accommodations were very satisfactory. Unfortunately several things were missing: no remote for the tv and no information as to how to work it manually, no detailed information on the operation of the heater(s), no “member”parking pass was available which required moving the car in public spaces every 3 hours, no dish towel to dry washed dishes. « Just spent the mon th of March on this adorable floating home at Issaquah dock. The boat is very comfortable and compact.My host, Regina, is fabulous!!! She is so committed to her renters enjoying themselves. She's a delightful person and I'll miss her. She's totally on top of every situation and is available and responsive. »
