« Everything was better than expected. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, the bed and pillows were comfortable, actually all the amenities were just fine. The only thing off was the air conditioner. It sounded like a jet was flying over whenever it was running. I got used to it real fast and it actually helped me sleep. Best part was the breakfast. Everything was very well organized and clean. Kudos to the manager. For the price, I would stay here again. »

« It was supposed to be six of us adults and one baby, but no one got to show up only me but I had such a relaxing time and the property is so beautiful with a little creek that runs beside saw deer run around absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it is so clean and just absolutely adorable. I enjoyed my stay and so relaxed. I highly recommend. »

« The view and gathering area in the lobby are really nice but the motel area feels like it's very old and falling apart. The floor on the second floor feels like it's going to cave in and there are areas where you actually feel like the floor is sinking under the old, dusty, and cigarette smoke filled carpet. « I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall. The cottage was clean and tidy on the inside, a 70s vibe with wood paneling and furniture and a small kitchen with everything we needed. There was coffee, filters and plenty of towels. « This rental shouldn't be on Vrbo. Vrbo states that there should be no shared spaces with property owners. You have to walk through the home owners screened-in living room to get to what is designated as your space, which is a bedroom. We were very disappointed as well that the drive in was 4 miles on a rough dirt road and we were in a small car that met the clearance specifications but still had difficulty getting in. « Their are not enough words to describe the feelings this paradise invokes within. Alice and Doug has really created an atmosphere of relaxation, tranquility, serenity, and peace.
