This dreamy one-bedroom sanctuary combines style, comfort and spectacular views in perfect harmony. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere of understated luxury — an open-plan living space drenched in light, stylish interiors, and seamless connections to the outdoors.
Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to delight, from the sumptuous fabrics and statement furnishings to the dreamy terraces that frame one of Cornwall’s most iconic sights: St Michael's Mount. This is a perfect retreat for adults (Babes in arms are permitted) where you can meander down through the terraced garden to your private hot tub. Soak under the stars with the gentle sounds of the sea in the background, or retreat to the bedroom, where a king-size bed, roll-top bath and a private terrace promise mornings that take your breath away.

Enjoying a central position along the town’s characterful main road, this terraced cottage places you right at the heart of everything, with the beach, pubs, galleries, and cafés all just a short, effortless stroll away.

Flooded with natural light, the space opens out through stunning sliding doors onto the terrace, blurring the line between indoors and out. Whether you’re curled up with a good book or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun dips low, this space is made for unwinding.
COOKING & EATING The bespoke kitchen is hand built by Ben William's. Its perfectly equipped for creating anything from lazy breakfasts to indulgent suppers enjoyed at the dining table or al fresco on the terrace. It includes a hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, washer dryer and a slimline integrated dishwasher.
SLEEPING Take the handcrafted wooden staircase up to the most exquisite bedroom, where luxury reaches new heights. This dreamy sanctuary features a sumptuous king-size bed perfectly positioned to make the most of the incredible outlook and you can create your own ambience with atmospheric mood lighting.
Wake each morning to sweeping views of St Michael's Mount – a truly magical way to start the day. Start your day on the balcony over looking the sea with a cup of coffee and watch the bay wake up.
BATHING The bedroom doubles as a decadent bathing space, complete with a striking copper roll-top bath taking centre stage – perfect for long, indulgent soaks.
There’s also a contemporary shower with oversized rain shower and a separate WC, combining style with practicality in the most elegant way.
OUTSIDE Step outside and discover a garden designed for pure relaxation. From the terrace, steps lead you down through the garden to a secluded haven below.
Here, you’ll find your private hot tub, perfectly positioned to take in one of Cornwall’s most iconic views. With two loungers for sun-soaked afternoons and plenty of space to unwind, this is outdoor living at its finest.
The bedroom terrace offers yet another magical spot, complete with a bistro table and chairs – ideal for morning coffee or a sundowner as the sky turns gold.
MORE INFORMATION PARKING: You have a private parking space located within 100 metres of the cottage. WI-FI: There is unlimited Wi-Fi in St Michael's Luxury Retreat HEATING: The heating is controlled by a Nest thermostat and is pre-set for your comfort. There is a heated towel rail in the WC and you also have an electric effect wood burner in the sitting area. PETS: One SMALL well-behaved dog is welcome at £35 per week/short break. Far West Cornwall is doggie heaven! There’s plenty of beaches and coast paths for exploring. Please make sure they stay out of bedrooms and off the furniture and that you rub down muddy/sandy feet before they come in. PET ALLERGIES: This is a dog friendly property in a rural location and unlikely to be suitable if you suffer pet allergies. OTHER ALLERGIES: If you or any member of the party suffer any kind of allergy (such as dust or food) please let us know before booking so we can advise both the suitability of the property and what feasible measures are possible to mitigate the issue such as adapting any welcome pack contents. LINEN & TOWELS: You'll have bedding, towels and bathrobes but please bring your own beach towels. ACCESSIBILITY: St Michael's Retreat has outside steps and access in the garden is over tiered levels. Therefore, it is unlikely to be suitable for those with limited mobility. If in doubt do ask before booking. Please note children of any age are not permitted although babes in arms are acceptable and you will need to bring your own equipment. This property is not wheelchair friendly and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. If this applies, please contact our booking office to discuss the properties potential suitability prior to confirming. CHANGEOVER & SHORT BREAKS: Changeover is usually on a Friday or Monday. Short breaks are available out of season. Do check with us if your dates don't quite fit as we will always try to help. We are here to help and can answer most questions as we know the property well. St Michaels luxury retreat is strictly for two and does not permit children of any age to stay. Babes in arms are permitted and you need to bring your own equipment such as travel cots. If travelling later and arriving in the dark do familiarise yourself with the directions before leaving. With limited phone signal in the area also ensure you download all directions before hand. St Michael's Luxury Retreat is located just off the road, so please take care when arriving and leaving and always supervise your four legged friend. Bring a pair of slippers with you as there are wooden floor boards (and stairs) throughout.
