Escape to Sweet Escape – Your Florida Keys Waterfront Retreat!
Welcome to Sweet Escape, a stunning and modern 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath canal-front home perfectly situated near Sombrero Beach in Marathon, in the heart of the Florida Keys! This spacious home features an open-concept floor plan that seamlessly connects the fully equipped kitchen with the bright, inviting living area, creating the perfect space for gathering with family and friends. Natural light floods every room, enhancing the warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout.
Step outside and you’ll find abundant outdoor spaces to enjoy the Florida Keys lifestyle. Lounge by the private pool (not heated), relax on the covered patio with a refreshing drink, or soak in the canal-front views as you watch boats drift by. Boaters will appreciate the ~25 feet of dockage (owner’s boat secured on lift), providing convenient access to the Atlantic Ocean and nearby waterways.
Sweet Escape offers ample parking and is just a short stroll from the sun-soaked sands of Sombrero Beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying a day in the Keys. Located just one hour from both Key West and Key Largo, this home is an ideal base for exploring all the treasures of the Florida Keys while returning each day to your private paradise.
Whether cooking in the modern kitchen, lounging by the pool, or taking in the serene waterfront, Sweet Escape has everything you need for a relaxing, memorable, and fun-filled vacation.
SLEEPS MAXIMUM OF 8 GUESTS (including child in crib):
Bedroom 1 (2nd Floor): King Bed, En-Suite Bathroom, Smart TV (no cable/satellite TV)
Bedroom 2 (1st Floor): Queen Bed, Smart TV (no cable/satellite TV)
Bedroom 3 (1st Floor): Queen Bed, Smart TV (no cable/satellite TV)
Living Room: Sectional Sofa, Smart TV (no cable/satellite TV)
Kitchen: Nicely equipped (all things necessary to prepare and serve a meal)
AMENITIES:
- 25' of Dockage (canal ~70' wide, maximum width/beam of boat is 12'; owners boat is secured on the boat lift)
- Private Chlorine Pool (~25'x10' & 3'-5' deep, not heated)
- Outdoor Seating
- Keurig, Drip Coffee Maker, Toaster
- Propane BBQ Grill
- Linen's and towels provided
- Parking for up to 3 vehicles, including boat trailers. RV's are not permitted.
- Up to 1 boat may be docked. Boat must be docked along the dock and not extend beyond the property lines
- 1.5 miles to Sombrero Beach
- 6 miles to Coco Plum Beach
- 14 miles to Bahia Honda State Park
IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:
Age and Occupancy Requirements: Booking tenant must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the booking. Furthermore, this property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and is not available for worker housing.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited within the property. For the comfort and safety of all guests, please refrain from smoking indoors.
No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited. To help maintain a pet-free environment for all, we require every guest to confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and does not require creating an account. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.
Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.
