We recently stayed at this property with our family of six. Overall, the home had plenty of space and the views were definitely a highlight—beautiful Gulf views from every deck level, especially at sunset. The house was generally clean, but there were a few areas that could use more attention. For example, between the couch cushions we found crumbs and crayons, and the hot tubs were not clean and had sand in them. One of the hot tubs was also not working. While the owner did notify us about the broken hot tub about a month prior to our stay, it was just after the full refund deadline. They did mention that they would have offered a full refund if we had asked at that time, and also offered to refund the last few days if we chose to leave during our stay. There were a few maintenance issues as well—one hammock chair was ripped, and one of the deck lounge chairs was torn and falling apart. Additionally, the listing mentioned four garbage cans but there were only two, and we ran into some inconvenience with limited garbage bags, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. We were also told that beach chairs were not included.Communication was somewhat mixed. While the owners did respond, they didn’t seem very receptive to feedback when concerns were brought up.Overall, the stay was decent and the space worked well for our family, but compared to neighboring rental units, this property appeared to be less updated and not as well maintained, particularly in the outdoor areas.
