« This place was awesome! It was a perfect location to Monteverde. We definitely recommend doing Abuela’s breakfast in the morning. The host was really responsive and the sunset over the Lou twins was beautiful. My 8 year-old daughter loved the park. It was a perfect place for her to run around, especially after a few hours in the car. The home was beautiful with easy check-in/out instructions. We would 100% stay again. »

« The host was super welcoming! This was our first trip out of the Country and to Coasta Rica! Derek was the top notch Host, greeting us as we arrived (His dog and cat as well!- Plus for us because we are animal people!), showing us around the property, and available if needed! « Amazing place and extremely good value. As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need. « Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. I would have appreciated extra towels, they take so long to dry that we were drying with damp towels the second day. . A full length mirror somewhere in the house would have been nice. I was unfamiliar with the coffeemaker, I think an electric coffeemaker would have been better. The house did have a musty smell but I think that was due to the location. Really rough winding roads leading up to house, but again that’s the location. All in all I felt...
