« A fair distance off the road. Rooms nice and comfortable. Only one thing I didn’t like was , only access to unit from one door. Which was around the back . Wasn’t great when it was raining . Apart from that , very happy with my stay. »

« Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again. »

« Excellent everything. 50 minute drive to New Plymouth each day so early start and late return. Great to return home each night to a lovely home. Had everything we needed to relax after a hard day at "the office" - Matatini. »

« Lovely host, beautiful view, we could see the Milky Way at night, everything we needed in the cabin and easy to get to the hikes around taranaki. Highly recommend. »
