The condo was as advertised. Clean, comfy, and great location to the village and gondola, with all the amenities we needed. Easy in and out. Only complaint was that you needed quarters to use the pool table in the game room. Maybe put a change machine in there if you're gonna have guests need quarters to play.

These VRs are great for what they are. They are clean, well located, and simple. They are often a little tired inside but that means they are reasonably priced compared to nearby properties. We ran out of hot water most days. But we managed. The on call team was wonderful, kind and prompt so I’m very appreciative

Overall good stay. The location is great, close to the village and walking distance to the gondola. The bunk beds and the twin beds were not comfortable and the back door is impossible to open and close. We also found dead mice in the cupboard where the pans were. They looked like they had been there for a long time on the trap.

Great location, clean condo, awesome amenities at Snowcreek Athletic Club. Only one complaint- you have to pay for everything at the condo rec room. If you have kids, and see the pics of the rec room, this might be one of the reasons you choose it. However our kids were very disappointed upon our arrival when they went to check it out. It wreaked of weed, had slots to force you to pay to play ping pong, pool, etc., and no one was visible in the attached office overseeing it to be of any assistance.

Location of this property is nice. Paid $1687 for two nights rental, cleaning and other fees. Not worth our money. This is the first time I booked through Vrbo and my messages on the Message box were never answered. When we arrived, the balcony smelled gas. Propane tank was empty. Seems like it was left opened. Dangerous! Why did someone not do a walk through before letting next renters in? We couldn't grill that night. Tank was replaced the next day. Fireplace doesn't work. It was fixed the next day. Beds were either hard or caved in. Very uncomfortable. All of us had body aches! Kitchen knives are so dull. Some mugs are chipped or cracked. Overall, very dissatisfied with this particular unit. We deserve to get partial refund for these inconveniences it caused us.

Great location but the place was disappointing
Location is right by village and gondola which is great. But the unit itself was very dated and not clean (ex: we found a box of chicken nuggets under a bed!). The TV in the main room is small and has 2 permanent lines on it. The other TVs did not work. Pots and pans are all scratched and thermostat in one of the rooms had to be reset.

Great property - amazing location
This property was perfect for my stay - the location truly cannot be beat with a 5 min walk to the village and the gondola. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and eat meals, and the living room had lots of comfy seating. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the hosts were helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. A huge bonus was two storage closets for all of our ski and snowboard gear. I would definitely recommend this property.

Really hot - no AC, issue with electricity
Bad points: First, there is no AC and little air flow even with all the windows open. Only one room has a ceiling fan. We came here at the beginning of Aug and. IT WAS HOT! We did not know that there was no AC in this unit when we booked. Secondly, the electricity went out downstairs (where 3 bedrooms are) for an entire day/night. Thirdly, there is no management to talk to after business hours, so if something happens (like electricity going out), it cannot get taken care of until the next day- A BIG INCONVENIENCE.
Good Points: This unit is REALLY close to the Village. No driving to the village was a plus. We ate and rented bikes there and walked each time.

Great Location. Bring Soap and shampoo's.
I've stayed in many properties in Mammoth and this one wasn't bad. Some peculiarities were the fact there was no soap in the place, no tissue boxes. This was the first time I've experienced that in the places i stay in mammoth. The place was a good rental for the most part, a little dated, but clean and location was perfect. Probably could have used a fan or two in the place, as it was hot. One other thing was the pool is not heated so take note, even on hot days the water is cold.

Condo 126 at Mammoth Estates Mammoth Lakes Ca
I recently rented Condo No. 126 at Mammoth Estates for 5 nights to attend the Bluesapalooza at Mammoth Lakes . The Condo was ideal for our family of seven with four bedrooms, three baths, spacious living and dining areas and a complete kitchen with all the utensils for home cooking. The condo is located with in walking distance to the village and the Woods where many of the special events are held. Mammoth Estates has a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi area , a sauna and game room. We will return.

#126 is my favorite condo In Mammoth. We have reserved it each time we have a chance to enjoy the Sierras. Easy walk to The Village, gondola, and restaurants. It sleeps ten and has everything you need except food. You may enjoy all the Sierras have to offer in all the four seasons. Skiing, biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding. I could go on. Loved the unit

Great Condo, nice people
I've been coming to Mammoth Estates for a lot of years. I prefer Mammoth Estates because it's location is walking distance to the village! And not far from world class fishing at the lakes basin, which has bike trails and hiking to the back country. Mammoth Mountain is right up the street with world class skiing as well. The staff at Mammoth Estates is very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in unit #126, which has all the amenities you'll need and very comfortable. I highly recommend a stay at Mammoth Estates for all your out door activities.
