Fireside at The Village | Near Hike/Bike!

Summary:
This 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condominium located at Fireside at The Village.

The Space:
The Village is great for a small family or group of friends. Fireside at The Village is within walking distance to the Village, so you will have easy access to the gondola during the winter. The Village also hosts a great summer concert series. Hiking, biking, and golf courses are also conveniently nearby.

The living room is arranged with plush seating placed around a fireplace and TV. The couch additionally serves as a sofa sleeper for two guests. Light a fire after a day full of skiing and snowboarding. The TV is equipped with an XBox and DVD player, and there is also WiFi for your entertainment.

With updated appliances and plenty of counter space, a chef will be whipping up tasty treats and delicious meals. Your guests will be eager to sit at the dining table while they smell your mouth watering dishes in the kitchen. The dining table has seating for four. Doors to the balcony are nearby here. Step outside for a mountain view and a breath of fresh air.

Down the hallway is the master bedroom. The bedroom holds a Queen-size bed and a mounted flat screen TV. Have a good night's sleep in here to prepare for your next adventure in Mammoth Lakes. A full bathroom is directly across the hall from the bedroom for all guests to share.

Fireside at The Village offers a wide variety of other amenities for you to use during your vacation. There is 1 underground parking space, shared laundry facilities, and a clubhouse with a ping pong table. The BBQ stations are only open during the summer." Both the indoor spa, indoor swimming pool, and two saunas will be closed due to snow damages that has made it impossible to repair due to structural damage. HOA in complex still discussing when and if will repair it by next winter season.

Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.

Very disappointing

Our stay began with the management company failing to give us the code to enter the garage. It took several phone calls to remedy this, as it took many phone calls to remedy all of the many problems with the unit. The management company customer service appears to be out of the USA, and thus its resolution reflected this. Everything electrical in the unit malfunctioned. The T.V. Cable, Wifi, and everything else is connected with a very fragile, overly complicated nigh mare of wires, with no instructions at all. There is no way to figure out how to use the T.V. , cable, phone system, or anything else. the Wifi was on and off. When I call the management company, they could not figure out how to fix anything. Besides the great location, the one high mark is the great kitchen. Other than that, you are led to believe that tis property is part of the Village at mammoth, it is not. It has covered, but not secured parking, that is not connected to the unit, we still had to walk a considerable distance to get to the unit, this is not disclosed. The bed is horribly soft, and uncomfortable. the couch in the living room is also very uncomfortable. There is virtually no water pressure in this unit. I have never seen such poor water pressure. Due to the location, I would stay here again, if the owners decided to put some money into the unit, and hired a different management company l

Just as expected

It's not glamorous or beautiful, but it's very nice and perfect for a father son ski trip. I wouldn't expect the most affordable place in the neighborhood to be perfect. I appreciate a little bit of corner cutting to keep the price down. Not that the place is dated. The kitchen is clearly new, and everything is in perfect working order. The walk to the gondola couldn't be any shorter, so the location was perfect for us. I appreciate that the checkout procedure is essentially just lockup and turn the heat down. Lots of places expect you to do the housekeeping you paid for.In short, it was exactly what we wanted.

Great stay

Overall great stay - super close to the Village for rentals, food, child care and gondola. Very secure and warm parking. Only wish is that they allowed earlier check in - I was at the structure well before 4pm and saw the cleaning people leave the unit, but no one pinged me to inform me that I could get in early (even though they said they'd lmk if unit was accessible before 4pm).

Great location, great condo.

Love location to village, underground parking, and well stocked condo. Condo was clean with recent upgrades. Close enough to walk to the gondola in our ski boots. And steps to the jacuzzi. Property management was very responsive. Thank you for having a humidifier!! Bring your ground coffee, not pods :) We really enjoyed our stay!

Well appointed

The property is conveniently located next to the Village, so it's a short walk to the gondola and restaurants. The condo has a very well-appointed kitchen that made meal prep easy. Clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained.
