« Beautiful home, beautiful location, great view of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom. Very responsive property manager, answered all my questions in a timely manner. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to make it up the hills to the house. Well kept. Modern inside. Dishes and cooking things all stocked. My only comment would be that this house is not a 5 min walk from the beach like it says. Its about a 5 to 7 minute drive down the hills and a little road driving. No complaints otherwise. »

« We loved the apartment and having two pools was great. The beach was a very short walk across the road and down a trail and there are restaurants on the doorstep. Santa Teresa is the perfect surf and yoga town, has a good healthy lifestyle feel about it and feels safe. We loved being able to walk back and forth to the beach so if one person had enough of the beach they didn't have to wait for the whole family. « First of all, this property has to have some of the best views of Sta Tere. We enjoyed the design of the house, as it is quite unique. This property is perfect for three couples, though make sure you are fit as the stairs up to the property from the parking area are steep! Well worth the climb for that view however. « One week before arrival i replied to the emails send by vacasa/vrbo; 3 emails to ask for local persons contact. Did not receive any reply on the emails. So we had to wait by the gate. Had to call to vacasa USA, several calls, a mess. Once entered the property, big was the surprise when we saw the walls full of dirty traces in all chambers! Oxidation from the fans made a complete mess. Bedsheets, walls, all full of sprinkled oxidation. Also only 1 towel per person for the whole stay (4days!)...

« Casa Makai is a beautiful property with an incredible ocean/jungle view & very comfortable furnishings. The filtered water system was a treat, allowing us to fill our water bottles and drink directly from the tap, reducing unnecessary plastic waste. It is secured behind a private gate & monitored overnight by an on-sight security guard, (which didn't seem necessary as everyone in town was exceptionally kind and trustworthy). « We had a great spring break at Havana Lodge in Malpaís. The lodge was beautiful, the pool was amazing, and the location was perfect. When we had questions, they were answered within minutes. We couldn’t light the grill, and someone was over within 5 minutes to assist. I’d love to go back. So relaxing. »
