Great place all the necessities you need for glamping in your cottage or in your tent. They have everything you needed a little store. The restaurant has wonderful food in the bar has great lemon drop martinis.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the 1 bedroom cottage (1 Bluejay). It was perfect! The cottage was clean, it had everything we needed. The king bed was comfy and the deck overlooking the water was relaxing and serene. We’ll be back!

Beautiful scenery, friendly neighborhood and staff. Great location, it was quiet and the fall colors we amazing! Dog friendly as well which is always a plus :)

Great place !!

Super freindly guys at reception. They were so kind and helpful!! The area is nice and the paths are great. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed. We had some amazing sunsets!! Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked.

The bed broke the first night. I took us an hour to try to put it back together. We paid the pet fee but our pet did not stay with us, it was just to have him on the property for the day. They never compensated us for the first night. The furniture is cheap and not very well put together. Won't be back.

The restaurant was excellent on site very friendly. The guys that run. The place are very nice too but communication is a challenge sometimes as the workers and general manager don’t speak English well but they do try. They’re also very accommodating room was quite cold when I got in broken thermostat, but they did their best to accommodate buildings are older on the outside and we’re surprisingly nice inside mattresses could’ve been a little more comfortable but overall finishing was impressive, Restaurant was extremely surprising. Just really, really good.

The property has no proper heating Small portable heaters Not enough blankets Hydro went during my stay and it was very cold. Floors are also uneven Washroom was also not well maintained for cottage 2 Floor was breaking into pieces

We stayed for one night and found it to be a 2-star experience, so lower your expectations. The bed linens had burn holes, tiles were missing in the bathroom, and there were no basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The furniture was really olf, uncomfortable, dirty, and should be thrown away—there was nowhere to be comfortable except outside. We didn’t even shower because we were grossed out by the condition of the shower. It didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend unless you are ok with those standards.

Cozy and comfortable Stay at 1Bluejay Cottage..... We had a lovely experience at the one-bedroom lakeside retreat while visiting Magnetawan. It offered free Wi-Fi, complimentary self-parking, and a small kitchen, which made our visit warm and inviting. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the lake, which added a peaceful and relaxing touch to our trip. A special thank you to Betina and Raj, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay, their kindness and hospitality truly made a difference! Although the accomodation uses a portable heater, it worked perfectly well and kept the entire space warm and cozy. There are a few areas for improvement, the toiletries, as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were not supplied. Also, providing extra towels would be appreciated, especially for guests staying for more than one night, to ensure a more comfortable and convenient experience. The resort is conveniently located just about 10 minutes from town, where you can find Magnetawan Grill and Grocery restaurant, a great spot for good food with friendly service, as well as small grocery store for your everyday needs. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality, with a few improvements, such as providing adequate toiletries and extra towels the guest experience could be even better but it's a lovely getaway for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Magnetawan!!

The location is amazing but the cottage we were assigned to needs some serious maintenance. The floor seems sagging and the toilet and the overall feel of the cottage was not worth the money spent. Raj at the reception was amazing and courteous.

It is a huge change from what it was before. Owners changed and entire property needs to be updated. Poor communication, they try to charge my credit card as soon as I made a reservation instead at the property. Nobody ever came to take the garbage or recycling away. We had to go and ask for clean towels too. All together very bad. We will not come again or recommend this property to anyone

Great family getaway

We really enjoyed our family trip to this resort. The hot tub cottage was great, the restaurant was amazing, the owner super nice and available to help 27/7, ice cream shop great, beach - nice and clean and overall great family getaway! Strongly recommend this place! The only reco is - check ahmiclakeresort website cottages description for more accurate info then hotels.com . Thank you, Raj!

I went with a group of friends and it was just the beginning of the season so we had the entire property to ourselves. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. A separate shout out to Michael and Raj. Do ask for them when you visit.
