Start the morning with coffee on the deck, spend the day exploring the Smokies, then come home to an evening soak in the hot tub as the valley lights come on below. Movie night happens in the den by the gas-log fireplace, and s'mores happen at the fire pit - firewood is provided!

We love four-legged travelers and welcome your well-behaved dogs to enjoy Maggie Valley with you! To help us keep our wood floors and furniture beautiful for everyone, we kindly ask that you follow these strict guidelines:



🐕 Maximum of 2 Dogs: We allow up to 2 dogs per stay.

⚖️ Dogs Must Be Under 40 Pounds Each: Dogs over 40 pounds are unable to be accommodated.

🚫🐱 Strictly No Cats: Due to severe host allergies, cats are not allowed under any circumstances. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome!

📋 Pre-Approval & Fees: All pets must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. Please share your dog's breed and weight when requesting approval. A flat pet fee applies to your stay to cover deep cleaning.

🏠 Crating Required Unattended: Pets must be crated anytime they are left alone in the house. Separated dogs in new environments often scratch wood doors or chew furniture legs; crating keeps them safe and protects our home.

🛋️ Keep Off the Wood Furniture: Pets are strictly prohibited from climbing onto beds, couches, or any wood furniture.

🧼 Wipe Those Paws: Maggie Valley trails can get muddy! Please use the dedicated dog towels provided in the entryway basket to thoroughly wipe muddy paws before your dog steps onto the wood floors.

🌿 Yard Cleanup: Please pick up after your dog immediately. Waste bags are provided near the door; please dispose of them in the outdoor trash bin.

🪲 Fleas & Ticks: Because we are surrounded by beautiful nature, please ensure your dog is up-to-date on flea and tick prevention before your trip.



Note: Guests are fully responsible for any deep scratches to wood floors or damage to furniture caused by their pets. Thank you so much for respecting our home!

We strongly recommend arriving in a 4WD or AWD vehicle during icy or snowy conditions. Please check the weather forecast and road conditions before traveling, bring tire chains if available, and allow extra time for your drive. Road conditions can change quickly, and we cannot guarantee that roads will be clear or that a particular vehicle will be able to reach the property.
