« My stay was very good and the hostesses Steph and Erin were super friendly and helpful. From help with pre-ordering breakfast the day before to getting our room instructions. The place was gorgeous and very clean. A very easy place to chill down and rewind. The only thing I would advise for improvement is to remove that staircase window in the twin bedroom as it lets light come in to the room at night even with the curtain closed. Also maybe tint it with privacy film. »

« We had a lovely two night stay. We booked only 48hrs before our visit so we had the last available room, which had a wonderful garden view and although it was smaller than we anticipated the fun of watching dozens of garden birds on the many bird feeders outside our door and also seeing tiny shrews playing and jumping in the late evening was wonderful. Breakfast was pre booked and excellent and our hosts happy to help at all times. We would definitely return. »

« This fantastic B&B looks like a mansion, its interior is beautifully decorated and the rooms have a standard high above most B&Bs. Beds and bedsheet, bathrooms, breakfast – they are all characterized by great taste and the hostess is very sympathetic and service minded. During our travel around in England, Scotland and Wales for three weeks in September 2019 we stayed at 13 different B&Bs and hotels – Plas Y Dderwen was definitely the best B&B of them all. »

« We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. « Clean and well fitted out (as described) and in a good location for harbour and beach. Friendly staff. I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds...
