Cabane de montagne simple sur les rives du puissant ruisseau Saint-Vrain

Cette escapade Ă  la montagne simple et tranquille est une cabine non-fumeur au bord du ruisseau dans le style moderne du milieu du siĂšcle situĂ©e Ă  8500 pieds dans la vallĂ©e paisible, sur le ruisseau Middle Saint Vrain. Deux chambres, plus un futon reine dans le salon, un bain et un poĂȘle Ă  bois. Vous apprĂ©cierez une belle vue sur la vallĂ©e, la forĂȘt, le Saint-Vrain et la faune qu'il attire. SituĂ© juste en haut de la route du Peaceful Valley Lodge oĂč vous pourrez profiter de leur belle chapelle sur la montagne surplombant la vallĂ©e. Vous aurez un accĂšs facile Ă  la randonnĂ©e, au ski, au vĂ©lo et Ă  la dĂ©tente dans les terrains de camping Peaceful Valley et Camp Dick. Profitez des communautĂ©s proches de Nederland, Lyons et Estes Park, une porte d'entrĂ©e vers le parc national des Montagnes Rocheuses et visitez la forĂȘt nationale de Roosevelt. Vous pouvez vous familiariser avec les alentours ou vous dĂ©tendre au son du ruisseau en passant par les deux cĂŽtĂ©s de cette retraite de montagne confortable.

I found this vacation VRBO cabin listing in a familiar area I like in Colorado. We enjoyed the cabin, and its setting, more than I can say. The cabin was EVEN BETTER than indicated in the listing. It was PERFECT for us. It IS a Simple Cabin - with everything you could possibly need for a stay. And Charlie, was the Perfect Host. We only visited with him briefly, but he is considerate and helpful. I genuinely hope we will be able to schedule another wonderful, peaceful time at Charlie's Simple Mountain Cabin. A little slice of paradise

The beauty and sound of the river flowing beside the cabin was mesmerizing and so relaxing! The perfect location as we were in easy driving distance of Estes park and took advantage of several hiking opportunities. It's not everyday that you can walk down a city street/golf course and see a herd of Elk walking by! We loved this place! Charlie was an excellent host!

This place has it all!!

Charlie had everything covered and then some!! The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The location can’t be beat!!! Crack the windows and the music of the water will fill your rooms. You won’t have to go far to find wildlife or hiking spots! I could go on forever. We can’t wait to come back!!

Wonderful Hideaway

It has not been 48 hours since we left the cabin and I am longing to return. You are completely away from city life in a rural environment in the Rockies. We have photos of hummingbirds at feeders outside the kitchen window, the Middle St Vrain River rushing past the cabin, we loved the smell of pine, and the sounds of a variety of birds. The host is an exceptionally nice man who loves the environment and knows the area well.

Peaceful Valley by the St. Vrain

Charlie's place is in a beautiful setting, on the banks of the St. Vrain river. The two bedrooms overlook the water, and the sound lulls you to sleep. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, all the basics and everything you would need to cook for several people. Living room and beds were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the patio down by the river, relaxing and watching hummingbirds. Charlie is one of those people you immediately like, very welcoming and eager to tell you about the local nature and area.

Peaceful Valley Cabin

Charlie’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It is a simple and peaceful place to relax in the mountains along the Saint Vrain. The cabin is one of the cleanest, and Charlie was very attentive and helpful with any issues that arose. We would love to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this place especially the patio that overlooks the mountain stream and the many hummingbirds that visit the feeders. This place is a real mountain retreat while still close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Awesome little cabin

Had a wonderful stay at the simple cabin. So quiet and peacefull. The sound of the rushing creek is amazing. Awesome hikes close by. Even caught a few cut throat trout from the creek.

Absolutely beautiful landscape.

;Charlie was right there to meet us with a smile. We toured the cabin and he gave us check in and out information. The setting is just beautiful, The little creek that runs just behind the cabin is so peaceful to sit by. Enjoyed out beer and wine out there. Charlie was available if we needed him, which we did not, except for directions to places. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

The best little hide away

Overall, Charlie was a nice man who we only spoke with twice. He gave us full privacy. We wanted to say goodbye but didn't want to disturb him. He lives right there bu the cabin. This cabin is perfect! Best location. Right in the moutains. The water behind the cabin was so pretty and peacful to listen to. Sitting on the back patio right by it, nothing was better. I'm already planning a trip back to this location. We had everything we need. This is the perfect place. Get all you need in the city before heading out. Stay in the mountains the entire trip and explore. You will not regret this experience. Thank you Charlie for sharing your property with us.

Peaceful Valley for a reason

Wonderful, rustic cabin, right on the creek in Peaceful Valley, away from the hustle and bustle of Estes Park but still close to RMNP. Host is wonderful and accommodating; can’t say enough good things. Very peaceful getaway.

Charlie lives on the property but we never saw or heard him and we might as well have been there all alone. Although close to the highway and a few other cabins, the vegetation and constant song of the creek created a peaceful seclusion. The cabin was great: very clean, functional and well-stocked but unassuming and comfortable. The creek wraps around two sides of the house and the patio is a perfect place to watch animals and birds. Among others we saw Mink, a Western Tanager, a Flycatcher and one night we heard coyotes calling nearby. Charlie is an appealing host and we look forward to getting to know him better on future visits.

True Peaceful Valley

This was our second year here and it was just as peaceful and quaint as we remember. The river behind the cabin is the perfect place to be immersed in nature and be away from all of the busyness of Estes Park.

Serene Mountain Getaway

My husband and I along with our 2 boys had the pleasure of staying at Mr Charlie's cabin last week. The location is outstanding. We loved that it's right next to the St Vrain creek. We kept the windows open so we could hear the rushing of the water. Having coffee by the creek in the mornings was the perfect way to start the day. The cabin is quaint and vintage, but well-stocked. Mr Charlie was very gracious and welcoming and lives on site, but gave us our space. He was the perfect host! Thanks again from the Prices!

Stunning and serene

Within 10 minutes of checking in, we saw a moose in the back of the house by the creek. We counted 12 humming birds at once in the front with constant humming birds coming and going to feed. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen had all we needed. We met Charlie and he was great with the kids and greeted us if he was on the property. Friendly, but also gave us space for our family time.
