Downtown Lynchburg, Vault Loft, 1,500 sq. ft., Va

This downtown Lynchburg warehouse used to be the Craddock Terry’s main office. This loft has the original vault in it (locked for your safety)! We kept the lofts as open as possible to maintain the integrity of the building, so there is a bedroom area but it doesn’t have wall/a door. There is a courtyard which this unit opens up to (but is not yet accessible to guests as it’s not quite ready yet!)

Huge, airy downtown Lynchburg Va loft, with tons of character! Great entertaining kitchen, record player with sound system (some records in the loft for your use!)

All of our longer term (and short term) guests absolutely love this space as it’s ground level, huge, and very comfortable.

This loft is in the heart of downtown Lynchburg, Va! The location is considered by many to be the best location in Lynchburg! A few blocks from the James River, art galleries, a Kids museum, the Farmer’s Market, bike trails, restaurants, coffee shops, the Lynchburg Museum, and many other attractions. Downtown Lynchburg, Va is experiencing a major revitalization right now, and this area is one of the coolest areas in Lynchburg! There are things going on all the time..summer concerts every weekend, wine festivals, international festivals, and the bateau festival! The first Friday of every month the art galleries open for free for First Friday’s.

Street parking, the lots and garages close by are all free at nights and on the weekends. If you’re staying during the week for multiple nights we provide our guests with one parking pass for the garage near by. Once you’re here, you shouldn’t need to drive anywhere within downtown, as it’s all very walkable! There is a great paved bike trail a block away, with mountain biking trails off of it. Either bring your bike or rollerblades, or let us know in advance you’d like to borrow some and we’ll try to make sure there are a few bike available for your use. If you come in by train you can walk down the bike trail (about two miles) right to our front door! We also don’t mind picking up guests if you ask us ahead of time. Or take the bus! There’s a great bus system with bus stops a block away. You can catch the Hopper for free around downtown. We’re 10 minutes from Liberty, Randolph College, and The University of Lynchburg!

There are no walls or door on the bedroom, but it is in a separate bedroom area away from the living space.
Guests should wash any dishes they use.
Guests should take any trash / recycling to the bins out front upon checkout.
