Welcome to Lazy Lake!
Come relax in the hot tub while overlooking the Shenandoah mountains. Walk or drive a half mile up the road to the River Outfitters to enjoy rafting/tubing/canoeing. Centrally located, our cabin is within 30 min of the National Park and Town of Luray. Strong wifi included for streaming & work!

Our cabin is located in the Page Valley Estates neighborhood of Luray. Located just north of the main town, you are about 15-20 drive to local grocery stores, food, and coffee shops.

The neighborhood itself is very quiet with other vacation rentals nearby. We enjoy breaktaking views of the Shenandoah mountains from the deck / living area. There is also a private community pond at the bottom of the hill.

Most of our guests love the short 0.5 mile drive/walk to Shenandoah River Outfitters where they can enjoy all river activities in the summer. There is also a local hike nearby, about 5 min drive away, named the "Habron Gap Trail".

The house has plenty of parking for multiple cars, as there is a circular driveway closest to the main road, as well as a drop down driveway that brings you right up to the front door.

Everything is accessible within a short drive. 4WD not necessary :)
1. Quiet Hours are 9 pm to 7 am. Many of the surrounding neighbors live in their homes and do not tolerate parties/events/loud noise.
2. Total Guests allowed are 6. Please do not bring additional guests unless approved with host prior.
3. Pets are allowed but must be listed on the reservation. There is an additional cleaning fee involved. If bringing a pet, please update the reservation.

Very quaint and cozy location and home. As a VRBO owner myself, I love to see other properties and get ideas for myself. The owner was prompt and very responsive. Highly recommend this home for a quiet get away.

Beautiful Property

My best friend and I took our kids to this cabin. While the location was nice, the lake is not allowed to be fished in and no swimming but it’s nice to look at. The yard was overgrown with what looked like poison ivy so we avoided it (I am not fully sure if it was) When we arrived the house was neat but not cleaned, windows were all printed up and dirty, trash can lid was dirty even the drinking water system was covered in dust and dirt in the floors still. We took our shoes off when we walked in and while the floors looked clean my friends socks were black quick. The bunk bed sheets were still wet and we didn’t know until 11 when her son went to bed. Also when we walked in the first thing you smell is old smoke, which for myself and my daughter was rough and we ended up leaving an day early and having to wash everything bc we are allergic. I did reach out to the owners and never heard anything back about this so I thought others should be aware. The property is nice and has so much potential.

Peak Shenandoah Stay

Brought some friends from AZ here to show them the beauty of the Shenandoah. Amazing view, quiet neighborhood, great stay. It's a cozy home with all the basics you'd need. Kitchen has coffee and basic seasonings, which we really appreciated. Check out was simple and reasonable. Would stay again

A Magical Stay — Gwen Made It Even Better!

I can’t say enough good things about this cabin! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that it was designed with both humans and dogs in mind. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.Our dog absolutely loved it — there was plenty of space to roam, cozy spots to nap, and even thoughtful touches like dog beds, bowls, and a fenced outdoor area. It was so nice to find a place that truly welcomes dogs without sacrificing style or comfort.The location was perfect too — peaceful, private, and close to trails where we could hike together. We left feeling refreshed and grateful to have found such a special place. We’ll definitely be back!Gwen is an amazing host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.We are looking at dates to return this fall.

Birthday Getaway!

My wife and I visited Lazy Lake to celebrate her 24th birthday! We loved the cozy feeling and aesthetic of the cabin and enjoyed the view of the mountains and the lake. The property was spotless upon our arrival and checking in was as smooth as could be! We also loved how close Lazy Lake was to downtown Luray (about 17-20 minutes), and we took advantage of this proximity on Friday night for a meal at Watch and Warrant, which we would definitely recommend! The food and the drinks were fantastic, and the restaurant had such an enjoyable atmosphere! We went into downtown again the following morning and tried Broad Porch Coffee, which was also a hit! All in all it was a great trip and I am sure we will return!

Highly Reccomend!

My wife and I have stayed at many VRBO's, and this is one of the best. Completely updated so everything is pretty much brand new. My wife said this is the nicest and cleanest hot tub she has every been in! The views are amazing, just as the pictures show. The host was very responsive to questions and very helpful. The area is very quiet, mostly all you hear is the birds and we also saw a couple deer down by the water. There is also a awesome national park very close that has many trails for hiking. We were surprised by the beauty and size of the Shenandoah mountains and park. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway or family time in nature!
