The house was just right for me, my husband, 5 year old, and pups. It had everything we needed and was very clean/ well kept. We loved hanging by the fire pit to make s’mores and watching movies in the loft. It’s close to the Luray town center as well as hiking, wineries, and breweries. There is a park across the street by the lake that has a small playground which we enjoyed. Owners were very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house in perfect location!

Can’t say enough good things about my stay here. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I like to cook while on vacation and the kitchen had all of the essentials - pots and pans of various sizes and casserole dishes. I had my dog with me and being so close to Lake Arrowhead Park was great. You’re literally across the street from it and I was able to take the pooch for his morning walkie there. The house is 10 minutes away from Luray’s downtown area which had great spots to grab a quick bite, beer, or coffee. It was maybe 15 minutes from the entrance to Shenandoah where I did a lot of hiking. It was nice to be able to come back to the house after a long day of hiking and kick back in the cozy loft area to watch a movie. The owners were very responsive and kind. Can’t think of a single thing I didn’t love about my stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Stay at Modern House

House was perfect for us. Super clean. Had all the kitchen stuff we needed. Also included coffee - nice bonus! Went to the national park several times… it’s only 10 minutes away! There was a fire ban and it was too cold for kayaking. We did the horseback riding at fort valley which lived up to the recommendation. House is on a quiet property and we enjoyed watching the stars in the hammocks. Just a really good experience. Host were very responsive and messaged us multiple times if we needed anything. We really had everything we needed.
