We really enjoyed our stay! The location is ideal â just a few blocks from a lovely trail and downtown Luray. We brought two dogs, and the convenience of nearby walking areas was a huge plus. The neighborhood seems to be in the middle of revitalization, with several homes being renovated, which was nice to see.Luray Caverns is only a 7-minute drive, and Shenandoah National Park is about 40 minutes away, making this a great home base for exploring the area. The fenced yard was a great size for our dogs to run around. There were a few small holes under the fence, likely from a groundhog that lives nearby. It wasnât an issue for our dogs, but small or escape-prone pups might need supervision. The house was very clean, especially the bathroom, which we appreciated. We couldnât get the TV to work, but we didnât mind since we were out most of the time. The kitchen has the essentials, though if you plan to cook, bring your own knife and specialty tools. The house next door appears abandoned. On our last night, we heard something large moving through the yard next door â startling, but we felt secure with the Ring camera and door alert system.Overall, a clean and cozy stay in a convenient and pet-friendly spot. We'd love to return!
