  • This in town, 2 bedroom 2 bath penthouse is brand new and built above a two-year long meticulous renovation of an 1840’s church. The view is just spectacular! Big open living space with deck and separated bedrooms. Two big bedrooms each with sitting areas. There are two entrances one for summer one for winter. Parking out front. This is a great property and wonderful location for exploring the area. The bed (king) was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen area. Nice decor. It rained so we couldn’t use the deck but the views are nice and you can walk to the town. Geno was very nice, although we only chatted briefly. He was quick to respond to questions. We would stay here again if we come back. Definitely worth a drive to Campobello while you are here.

this worked so perfectly for running the half marathon! geno was incredibly responsive and kind. we loved the property— it was so comfortable, great for cooking, and had a lovely view. I’d absolutely recommend!

Geno is a great host, he was there for check in and very helpful throughout our stay. The place is wonderful, tasteful, well done, and fully stocked with what you need. The balcony and view from the balcony is great. Same goes for the sitting area in each bedroom. If you’re thinking about renting it, do it.

This beautiful rental is worth making a trip to Downeast Maine stay in. The description reveals lots of steps - so be aware of that - but they are sturdy and we found them easy to climb. The views are spectacular & we lived in the deck the evening we arrived. The sun rises over a lighthouse on Campobello Island & I watched it from our deck. Outstanding! Our host met us as we arrived and all communication was precise and timely. The apartment has 2 lovely, large bedrooms & the beds are comfortable & the linens very nice. The TV has YouTube TV, so no need to remember your own streaming logins! We would rent again. Exploring Campobello Island proved to be a wonderful experience. In the past we just went to President & Eleanor Roosevelt’s home and then left. The Island is worth the time to explore. Tip: take the time to attend a “Tea With Eleanor” event. The tickets are free & the presentation excellent.

If you are going to the Lubec area, this is the place you will want to stay. The layout is great, the view is great, and the upfit/remodel job is great. Met the host, Geno, and he was great!

We loved our stay here at this beautifully and tastefully renovated old church. Quick walk into Lubec town and comfortable space for relaxing and enjoying Lubec like a native. (sort of!). Great place.

This is our third time staying at the penthouse in Lubec. It seems to get better each year. Very comfortable living quarters, and the view from the deck is mesmerizing. our host had everything we needed and check-in was very easy. We look forward to returning. Highly recommend.

Scenic comfort.

We enjoyed a most wonderful week at Geno’s place. Many happy afternoons on the deck watching the tides and the birds! The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The walk into town is short. Very convenient to coffee and brewery! A great place to stay.

Beautiful remodel. Super clean and good quality towels and sheets. Short walk to the restaurants and town (what there is of them). And only a 5 minute drive to quoddy head park which was spectacular for hiking plus right by the bridge to Campobello island (bring your passport). A great stay. And host was really nice and responsive. Two bedrooms were on opposite end of the unit so nice and private.

Perfect in every way.

This space is lovely; clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, new bathrooms, and lots of space in the common area. The view over to Campobello was gorgeous. Easy walk to dinner and downtown. Would highly recommend.

Cute penthouse rental

The penthouse was very nice and would have a good view - we had alot of cloud coverage so could not see the views. Very clean and easy to walk to town.
