Villa Arresia near the Dunas Douradas resort, just a short walk from the resort’s beautiful sandy beach and the blue waves of the Atlantic Sea. Everything about this modern villa is spacious, from the large bedrooms to the expansive living areas and the vast outdoor terrace. From the moment you arrive, the property feels relaxed, with an air of ease and simplicity that is reflected in the modest furnishings and minimalist styles.

The front door is reached via a flight of steps, with the entrance floor offering three spacious bedrooms. These bedrooms include two doubles and a twin room, all sharing a modern family bathroom. Each room has its own character, some with a more traditional feel and others adopting more modern styles, yet they all feel warm and welcoming, perfect for unpacking your belongings and making yourself at home. Because of the large scale of the rooms, you can easily enjoy moments alone or as a couple without feeling cramped or enclosed. The master bedroom is on the upper floor, boasting its own en-suite bathroom, alongside another en-suite double room. Both of these rooms have beautiful balconies so you can open the doors and enjoy the morning sun whilst you relax in bed – breakfast in bed is always an option!

Moving through the rest of the villa, the space opens out and become more social. There is a bright and airy lounge, with doors leading elegantly onto the terrace. This large space boasts a huge corner sofa where you can all fit together, curling up to watch the TV after busy days exploring the Algarve. The kitchen and dining room adopt the same large scale, with room for everyone to spend time together in each space. In the fully-equipped kitchen, you can get all hands on deck to prepare some family favourites, then moving to the dining room to eat together as a group, sharing stories and laughter away from the distractions of day to day life!

Stepping outside, Villa Arresia offers a mix of covered and uncovered spaces, all maintaining the easy elegance of the villa’s interior. Adjacent to the living room doors there are comfy outdoor sofas with a view of the pool, ideal for escaping the afternoon sun. You can lounge by the pool, dine al-fresco and walk barefoot in the grass, soaking in every moment of your holiday and letting any worries ease off in the ocean breeze. Location:

Villa Arresia is very near the wonderful resort in the heart of the Algarve's golden triangle, Duna Douradas. Just a short walk to the golden sands of the Algarve, the villa boasts an amazing location. The quiet resort is a golf lover's dream as the nearest course is just a five-minute drive away. The famous courses of Victoria and Pinhal are also nearby, offering guests the chance to try their hand at some of the country top courses. The resort also has so much to offer guests, the shared pool offers children the chance to make new friends, and the tennis courts make for great fun for the whole group.

There is also a plethora of restaurants within a stone throw from Villa Arresia, each offering the superb local delicacies and amazing atmospheres. It is easy to imagine a gentle stroll along the beach as the perfect way to finish another wonderful evening in one of these special places.

Nearby the town of Quinto do Lago offers guests the chance to enjoy some excellent shopping opportunities. The town boasts many well-known high fashion brands for those looking for some luxurious new additions to the wardrobe. For a unique experience explore the many boutique shops also available, these offer a wide range in styles and categories for those looking for something a little different.

For those who love nature, the area also boasts some incredible opportunities for bird watching. A short walk down the beach guests will stumble across a large wetlands area around the San Lorenzo golf course called the Rio Formosa. Here several amazing species of birds can be spotted, and even the unmissable sight of flamingos standing in the wetlands can be enjoyed.

For some evening fun, be sure to head to the Praca. This cobbled square hosts plenty of bars and live music and gives guests the chance to get their feet moving in a wonderful night of entertainment. The cocktails menus are renowned for their amazing variety, and you can be sure there will be an incredible energy every night!

Please be aware that a Tourist Tax mandated by local authorities may apply to your stay and is subject to change; this is an additional fee to be paid locally to the owner. The charge will be 2 Euros p.p for a max of 5 nights and 1 Euro p.p from March to November.
