This delightful home is conveniently located just six minutes from Ft. Knox and a short 15-minute drive to Elizabethtown. Situated on two beautiful acres, this dog-friendly property offers a peaceful oasis with easy access to the main roads.

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the front porch swing overlooking the front yard, adorned with mature shade trees. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the tranquil surroundings. The large, fenced backyard is ideal for both kids and pets. Whether you're playing sports or simply relaxing in the shade, everyone can relax here.

Inside, you'll find a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The property features three separate bedrooms, two updated bathrooms (one even includes a clawfoot soaking tub), a living room with large windows, a dining area, and a fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a microwave, toaster, Keurig & 12-cup coffee maker, stove with a full-size oven, and a fridge with an ice maker.

The large fenced backyard is perfect for families traveling with children or dogs who enjoy being outside. If you plan to bring your furry friend along, please make sure to get prior approval and ask for the dog rules.

During your stay, you'll have full access to the entire main floor of the house, which provides ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. However, please note that the garage, basement, and shed are designated for storage and are not accessible to guests.

Restful Retreat is a self check-in airbnb, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. Although we may not meet in person, we live just ten minutes away, so you can always reach out via call or text if you need anything or encounter any issues.

Nestled away from the main road, Restful Retreat is a tranquil single-family home with a long driveway and sidewalks on both sides of the main road. If you enjoy exercise, you can easily go for a walk or run.

The location of Restful Retreat is also convenient for other attractions. It's only six minutes to Fort Knox, seven minutes to Phillips Grove Wedding & Event Venue, 17 minutes to Elizabethtown Sports Park, 40 miles to Churchill Downs, and 38 miles to the Louisville Airport.

Per our insurance policy no parties, group or team gatherings are permitted at this location. This also includes team BBQs and similar events. Additionally, filming is not permitted on the property. Please ensure all guests are registered during your stay.

If you're bringing a furry companion, please note that an additional pet fee applies; inquire about this when making your reservation, please.

For families with infants, we are happy to provide a pack'n'play or other baby essentials upon request. Please make your request at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.
Restful Retreat can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. In addition to the three bedrooms, one person can sleep on the couch, and another person can utilize a twin roll-away bed. If you require the roll-away twin bed, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance, and we will ensure it is in the house with adequate bedding.
