Your own covered parking space, laundry on site, air conditioning. Set up for stays of a month or more: remote work, a move, or a season at the beach.

Living and dining are one big open room: a cognac leather sofa, travertine floors (sand sweeps right off), and a long wood table that seats eight and doubles as a desk. Four stools at the kitchen counter.

The kitchen has a gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle, everything you need to cook at home for a month.

Both bedrooms are the same size, each with a California king, custom blackout shades, a TV and two sets of grasscloth closets, so two couples or two friends are on equal footing.

The Marina Peninsula is the quiet stretch of beach between the Venice Pier and the Marina channel. The sand is at the end of the street and the beach bike path runs right along it, north to Venice and Santa Monica. The pier, coffee at the Cow's End and dinner on Washington Boulevard are a few minutes' walk.

The carport is reached from Speedway, which is one-way; we'll send directions before you arrive. Please don't park on the street here, they tow.
