La grange de maïs à East Trenean Farm

Niché sur la côte sud de Cornwall, dans une zone d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle, à seulement 5 km des plages et de la ville les plus proches. Calme et tranquille et un havre pour la faune. Cette grange magnifiquement convertie conserve de nombreuses caractéristiques originales qui sont complétées par le mobilier et l'équipement moderne de haute qualité fournis pour vos vacances confortables ici à East Trenean Farm.

La grange à maïs est la plus grande des quatre granges ici à East Trenean Farm. Il dispose de 4 chambres spacieuses, toutes avec des lits à fermeture à glissière offrant des lits doubles ou jumeaux super king-size dans chaque chambre. Faites-nous savoir votre préférence avant votre arrivée. La première chambre a une salle de bains. Les chambres deux, trois et quatre ont accès à une spacieuse salle de bains familiale avec baignoire et une cabine de douche séparée.

La cuisine moderne est bien équipée avec une grande cuisinière, un réfrigérateur-congélateur américain et tous les appareils habituels dont un lave-vaisselle. Il dispose également d'un bar pour le petit-déjeuner et d'un canapé pour que les gens puissent s'asseoir et discuter pendant que vous cuisinez!

La buanderie abrite la chaudière moderne, l'évier, le lave-linge, le fer et la planche à repasser.

Menant à la buanderie est une toilette séparée.

Il y a un grand salon et salle à manger avec des sièges confortables pour 8 personnes et un poêle à bois pour une soirée confortable.

Pourquoi ne pas vous détendre dans le bain à remous pour 8 personnes, situé dans le domaine de la ferme, avec vue sur la campagne vallonnée et un aperçu lointain de la mer. Le bain à remous est partagé par les 4 granges sur place, mais nous opérons un système de réservation quotidien simple afin que vous puissiez choisir votre propre plage horaire.

Le Corn Barn peut accueillir un maximum de 8 personnes. Si vous avez un groupe plus important, pourquoi ne pas envisager de réserver deux (ou plus) granges ici à East Trenean Farm. Nos 4 granges peuvent accueillir 8, 6, 4 et 2 personnes, offrant un large éventail de possibilités.

Nous accueillons les familles et les groupes à la recherche d'un moment détendu et agréable ensemble. Nous n'accueillons pas les groupes de jeunes adultes à la recherche d'un lieu de fête.

Veuillez noter que nous n'acceptons pas les animaux de compagnie dans les granges.

Sauf accord spécial à l'avance, l'heure d'arrivée est entre 16h00 et 20h00 et le départ est avant 10h00.

East Trenean Farm se trouve dans une région d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle (AONB) au milieu d'une belle campagne vallonnée, mais à seulement 3 miles de la côte à Looe. Nous sommes à proximité de nombreuses excellentes plages de la côte sud.

Le sentier côtier du sud-ouest est à proximité et un incontournable pour les randonneurs. Bodmin Moor et Dartmoor sont également facilement accessibles pour les marcheurs les plus aventureux. Les sports nautiques sont disponibles sur de nombreuses plages et la pêche est populaire à Looe. En plus de l'excellente plage et de la pêche, Looe bénéficie d'une large gamme de boutiques, tavernes, restaurants et galeries pour tous les budgets.
La ville universitaire florissante de Plymouth est à 30 minutes avec sa vie nocturne animée sur le Barbican, ses superbes boutiques au nouveau centre Drake Circus, son aquarium de renommée mondiale, ses vues sur le Sound from the Hoe, ses nombreuses marinas et chantiers navals.

Dans la direction opposée, Fowey, St Austell, Bodmin, l'Eden Project et le Lost Gardens Gardens of Heligan sont tous facilement accessibles.

Le National Trust s'occupe de kilomètres de côte et de campagne à proximité de Whitsand à Polperro et a ses propres parkings pour s'en sortir. LAWRENCE HOUSE la belle maison de ville géorgienne, maintenant un musée à Castle Street, Launceston (17. 2 miles).

Beaucoup plus facilement accessibles à travers le Devon et les Cornouailles.

Fantastic place to stay. The Corn barn had all the amenties and more that we needed, and the kitchen seemed to have every utensil you could ever need too! Graham and Jane where helpful and on hand if we ever needed anything. This is a lovely place to stay and if we ever go back to Cornwall we will certainly be checking if this place is available again for our stay.

Heaven of earth

We had the pleasure of staying in the Corn Barn recently at East Trenean Farm. I couldn’t fault it! It has a warm, homely feel and is the perfect rural escape from city life. Jane and Graham are wonderful hosts, I particularly love the food hamper when I arrive! It’s always a pleasure to visit and so hard to leave, I’ll be returning very soon I’m sure.

Corn Barn Cottage

Our stay at East Trenean Farm was truly unforgettable. Our group — four adults and four children — found the cottage to be the perfect getaway. Even on rainy days, there was no shortage of entertainment, from board games to the inviting warmth of the hot tub. The location was fantastic, just a short drive from Looe Beach, making seaside trips effortless. We also loved exploring the scenic outdoor walks around the farm, and the outdoor play area was a wonderful bonus for the children. East Trenean Farm offers a fantastic balance of relaxation, adventure, and family-friendly fun. We can’t wait to visit again!

Brilliant short break away

We had such an amazing time at East Trenean Farm. Graham and Jane were very accommodating and would help when needed. The cottage is beautiful with ample space and is full of everything you need. The area itself is very tranquil and there’s lots to do in the surrounding areas. We would love to visit again!

Ideal for short break

Corn barn is beautifully set up to accommodate a large family group. With sunshine front and back the barn presents a great welcome, however, on entry some might find the interior a little too dark. The decor compensates and the range of gadgetry is of a superior quality. Bedrooms are all of a good size and beds extremely comfortable There are lovely views from upstairs windows The hot tub is a short distance away buy has wonderful views

A perfect stay!

We just had a lovely weeks stay at Corn Barn. We found Corn Barn through Spectrum Holidays as we had a few requirements including a secure garden, a hot tub, ‘space’ and a general understanding of life on the spectrum. The holiday ticked all the boxes, and with a few beaches a short distance away, and lovely restaurants and views we had the perfect week of paddling, hot tub, enjoying the accommodation and eating - on repeat! We are already considering going back next year x

Simply superb

Corn barn was spacious and comfortable with top quality appliances, crockery, furniture and decor. The property is perfect for families with children or an extended family group. One can easily spend a day relaxing at the property without being bored. Within Corn Barn there is a small library of paperbacks and DVDs as well a number of board games for all ages. Every facility is available to accommodate young children and toddlers.

Fantastic Stay

We booked for a 5-night stay across a birthday weekend, the barn was fantastic, on arrival Graham and Jane were friendly and helpful, showing us around the beautiful grounds and our private hot tub with views to the valley and sea. The barn was spotless, we had a lovely kitchen pack left for us with fresh milk and eggs from the farm hens, just all very personal and thoughtful. Our son and partner arrived later and were super surprised how nice this place is, 5 stars all the way. We plan to return next year to explore more of the area.

Wonderful family holiday

Gathering together 9 people was never going to be easy when planning a family holiday but staying at the Corn Barn made the week a pleasure. We had everything we needed and everyone was able to relax as soon as we arrived. The hot tub was well used and a very welcome addition at the end of a busy day walking and visiting some of Cornwall’s wonderful attractions. Our granddaughter enjoyed meeting the chickens too! Jane and Graham were available for any questions or issues and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely return for another visit and would happily recommend the Corn Barn to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful rural location.

A fabulous holiday!

We've just has a fabulous holiday at The Corn Barn. Graham and Jane were excellent hosts replying promptly to our queries. We were five adults and two children aged four who absolutely loved the playground! We found the lay-out of the kitchen and living room was perfect for preparing and serving food and also keeping an eye on the children. We cooked all our evening meals at the house especially as the kitchen was SO well-equipped. The Hot Tub was really enjoyable after a day sitting on a pebbly beach! The views were wonderful from the hot tub making it completely relaxing. We loved the bath robes provided. We were blessed with good weather visiting Looe, Fowey, Ready Money Bay (beautiful!) and Talland Bay which were all a short drive away. We walked the coastal path next to Lansallos which has breathtaking views. The highlight of the week was the Eden Project! I just wish I lived nearer and could visit it more often.

Lovely accommodation

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Very comfortable, well equipped and luxurious. Everything was provided that they said would be and in excellent condition and very clean. The hot tub was lovely. Clean, easy to use and plastic glasses provided in the kitchen. We watched the sheep and birds in the fields from the hot tub each evening. Very friendly and helpful hosts who kindly recommended some fabulous places - although there was a lot of information provided online and in the cottage in very easy to use folders. We loved body boarding and rock pools at Talland beach (good cafe for sandwiches and coffee there), the Sardine Factory restaurant in Looe, the Sw coastal walk from Talland to Polperro and back (with lunch on the roof terrace of The Three Pilchards looking over Polperro). There were lots of small touches that were useful - lots of storage, hanging pegs, space to dry clothes inside and outside, some useful things to arrive (soap, coffee, washing up liquid etc - we received a list in advance). Kids games and books which my kids used. We didn’t use the console as we had very good weather but it was set up for 4 people. The play area is lovely - we brought a football. Unfortunately the kids couldn’t feed the chickens due to bird flu restrictions but they liked seeing them, and the sheep. The bike storage is great too. Everything was set up thoughtfully to be convenient and easy for guests.

East Trenean Farm is a really lovely place to stay and Corn Barn was stunning. It was perfect for all our needs and so comfortable. Jane & Graham were very welcoming hosts and had thought of absolutely everything! We would highly recommend and very much look forward to revisiting in the future.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We had a fantastic stay in The Corn Barn and will definitely return. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything anybody could ever need, and more. The beds were very comfy and we all slept very well. The Hot Tub was used every day, there's nothing better than relaxing in it with a cold glass of wine and stunning views over the countryside! Our children loved the park, and our 10 year old enjoyed the freedom of being allowed to 'pop over' to it whenever she wanted! Thank you Graham and Jane for allowing us to share your lovely property, and being such amazing hosts!

Hidden gem!

We have just arrived home from a beautiful week staying in corn barn, it was absolutely stunning in such a great location with so much to do around! Jane and Graham were so accommodating and helpful the cottage itself had everything we needed and our boys throughly enjoyed the parks, goalie nets and of course the hot tub! Beautiful home, quiet, stunning surroundings, great for families.

We had a brilliant week at the Corn Barn - it was gorgeously presented, spacious, had everything we needed and was perfect for a family of 5. The rest of our family shared the adjacent barns and the children all loved the playground and chickens! Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well appointed, laundry room really helpful, plenty of bathrooms and huge living room. Really quiet and you couldn't hear neighbours through the walls - which is great when there are lots of children running around! The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful and we loved it there. Would very highly recommend!

Amazing Easter Break

We had the most wonderful stay in the Corn barn over the Easter holidays. It was very clean throughout, really well equppied and plenty of room for the 5 adults and 3 children who were in our party. The hot tub was an added bonus and a massive hit, we spent every evening in there!! The grounds of the farm are lovely and really well kept. The children loved the big field, play area and seeing the sheep. Graham and Jane were the perfect hosts...very friendly, warm and welcoming people. We would highly recommend East Trenean Farm. Family break at East Trenean

Corn Barn proved to be an ideal spot for our three households to enjoy a family holiday together for the first time in two years. Corn barn has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, space to eat together; and a large sitting area for relaxing and chatting in comfort, The hot tub and EV charging point scored bonus points for us, too. The guidance notes on how-to were comprehensive and well written when we needed them. Jane and Graham provided a friendly welcome and some essential get-you-started items to ease us into our stay. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed week.

A lovely weekend escape

The Corn Barn is a beautiful place. We stayed as a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 toddlers). The cottage was spotless and spacious and had everything we could need. The living quarters are above the bedrooms which came as a small surprise! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Kitchen and dining areas are really well equipped and we had everything that we needed. We made some special requests which were all taken care of ahead of time (cots, high chairs and a stair gate). We had use of the hottub during our stay and this was a highlight! Really spacious and sheltered with nice views of the rolling hills. The hottub is set a little away from the cottage so it does require a short walk which we weren't expecting but didn't really mind. There was free parking on site (inc EV points) and it is a short drive to all the local places of interest. Some nice touches: Fully stocked kids cupboard full of toys and games, childrens books etc. TV included netflix and a Nintendo Wii console. Childrens play area A lovely welcome hamper on our arrival. Our only small gripe was the check in and check out times which at 5pm and 9.30am, respectively felt a little restrictive (Graham was able to extend our check out time by an hour which we were pleased about). The Corn Barn at East Trenean farm

Fantastic barn conversion - with latest mod cons complementing lovely homely feel. Jacuzzi wonderful after a day of walking on coastal paths. Jane and Graham are superb hosts. We had the best time!

Absolutely stunning place and location!

As a big group of 8 (4 couples), we stayed in the Corn barn for our stay and i was absolutely blown away from the moment i arrived. The building was lovely and really well equipped with everything you need for your stay, even down to the little things! Hosts were lovely and just left us to it once we settled which we liked, and the location was perfect as a base for exploring Looe, Newquay, Plymouth and more! The Hot tub was a bonus aswell, our favourite spot on the evenings. I would definitely go back! Thanks so much for having us.
