« Personnel agréable »

« Lovely warm and cosy room. Very comfortable. Just want you want when planning a trip to the area with the changing seasons. Great location for Downley Hill walks, West Wycombe and Princes Risborough, Aylesbury, Thames and Oxford. Nice helpful and obliging receptionist Narinder and the smiley guy whose name I cannot remember. Thanks, and see you again soon. 😃 »

« Chambre au dessus du restaurant de cet établissement charmant, typique et chaleureux. Le bâtiment est historique, ne cherchez pas une isolation phonique efficace, mais le lieu vaut le détour. La décoration de notre chambre semblait décalée -du mobilier tout en miroir?!- mais la salle de bain est jolie, actuelle et fonctionnelle . Le personnel est très jeune mais efficace , prévenant et attentif. Je recommande chaudement. »

« Having arrived in the evening during the check in times we were not pleased that the hotel was shut. We were also not pleased that the bar and restaurant were not open on either of our two days stay as we expected they would be. »

« Wonderful place, very nice Huge room delightful breakfast »

Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

« The welcome was very appropriate and kind. The rooms were impeccable, well-appointed, thoughtful amenities, great bathroom, lighting and sun protection was perfect, and more. Breakfast was healthy and balanced. I was very happy with my stay, and all my benchmarks were satisfied. The people always make a stay better or worse, and here I say thanks for the hospitality. »

« Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. We did and the guest relations sent an email back saying accounts will refund us IF the charge was taken twice in 3-7 days. Accidents happen but this has been dealt with incredibly poorly and...
