« The four of us have stayed at this property a couple times in the past. It’s a wonderful house for two couples. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and the owner is easy to work with. We plan to return in the future. »

« I stayed here for a couple days for a work assignment. Overall the stay was great, as others have said, the cottage has some uneven floors and the bathroom is tiny, but it did what it needed to. Very comfortable bed and offstreet parking was the key for me. »

« We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1. »

« A wonderful time. Steaks on the Weber, watching a redtail hawk divebombed by starlings, and enjoying goose politics (two couples, one of them interspecies) on the opposite shore. Avian drama in a peaceful and beautiful place.... as always. 😊 »

« The house is large and spacious. Very well decorated. Be aware there is not a door to the very large master bathroom so you can see someone sitting on the toilet from the king bed! — a bit weird for a house that was recently remodeled and the owners clearly spent a lot of money to do so. Other than that, a great house in a gorgeous setting. »

« Our stay was focused on Salmon fishing. The home was perfect with a dock for our boat. Very beautiful location and great neighbors. The home is well appointed and provided everything we need. The owners were very easy to work with. We definitely hope to return next year! We highly recommend this home. »

« The Columbia River, the sunrise over the tree covered mountain, the early morning fog all set the tone for a great family vacation. Crossing on the ferry to explore Oregon was unforgettable and driving over the bridge to Cathlamet was awesome. The house was equipped with everything and so comfortable, exactly what I was promised. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to be together, and to also “have our space.” Would love to return. »

« We loved every minute of this place. First morning we woke up to baby deer just outside our front door. The house is spacious and fully stocked. Owners were great to work with and responded to all of our questions quickly. We will be back. »

« Very clean property and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, however two of the four bed are on the floor without bed frames which was a surprise. Since some of us were on the senior side of time, we had to decide who was best able to get off the floor. Do bring your own shampoo, soap etc. as they are not provided. Photos do not do the home justice, it's more beautiful than the photos. Excellent, quiet neighborhood but parking is a bit crowded if you have more than two vehicles. »

« This residence is very roomy and exceptionally clean. Very well stocked with linens, coffee, snacks, paper goods, etc. All written communication was very easy to understand and accurate. You can not go wrong to visit this home. »

We had everything we needed to cook and grill, and the bathroom was easy to use! Overall very peaceful experience, it felt so calming to sleep to the sounds of the creek. »
